Dangerous laughter.
[00:00:19] Speaker C: Danger.
[00:00:24] Speaker A: Left here.
[00:00:26] Speaker B: Sa.
[00:01:08] Speaker A: The emergency destruct system is now activated.
The option to override detonation procedure has now expired.
The ship will automatically destruct in E minus one minute.
Three, two, one.
We are back.
Another episode of Dangerous Laughter. I'm talking to one of my favorite Latins in the world.
He's coming straight from the bodega.
Oh, wait a minute. Promised. I was promised a sombrero. I know it's after Cinco de Mayo.
[00:01:52] Speaker C: Oh, hell no.
[00:01:54] Speaker A: I was promised. That's what I was promised. Somebody. I need a modelo especial.
I needed the zekis, and I want a couple shots of anejo.
Ladies and gentlemen, the one, the only Chris Salcedo, author of the new book the Rise of the Liberty Loving Latino. Something that he's been calling himself since he was 5 years old. In the shower, you know, dreaming. Having big dreams about being on with A.J. rice. I'll tell you that right now. New American Revolution, everybody. Okay, Everybody get their copy right here. Look at that face. How can you resist that face? Come on. I mean, yeah, it's. I mean, it's really. It's like he's like a Hanes model is there for the loom model on this thing. Chris, how are you, my friend? Great to be here.
[00:02:39] Speaker C: It is great. It is great to be here, man. This is weird. Usually the rules are reversed. Usually. I got you on talking about one of your fabulous books.
Thanks for inviting me on, man. It's cool.
[00:02:49] Speaker A: It's a special Spanish language Twilight Zone episode where I'm going to interview you normally, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Salcedo was on Newsmax television. He was on real America's Voice television.
Once upon a time he was on something called America's Radio News and now he's got a podcast that is everywhere. Everyone loves it. The libs are afraid of it. And obviously he's on KSEV in Houston radio every morning and the owner. I've spent many weekend at KSEV over the years. Back when Ed Hendy was there and Dan Patrick. Right, Ed Hendy was shout out to the Taste of Texas, okay? Which is a steakhouse down there in Houston we all love. I don't think John Cornyn's allowed in there, though.
[00:03:37] Speaker C: No, he's not. As a matter of fact, only real Texans are allowed inside of Taste of Texas, folks.
[00:03:42] Speaker A: That's right.
[00:03:42] Speaker C: If you're ever in Houston, folks, it's a one of a kind restaurant. You have got to go.
[00:03:47] Speaker A: Absolutely. And I love Houston. I love San Antonio. I love Austin. The place in Texas I don't love, which is somewhere near Chateau Salcedo, is Dallas. Ladies and gentlemen, as you can tell from this accent, this is a Philadelphia Eagles fan. So I recommend all restaurants in Houston and none of the restaurants in Dallas because you might bump into that franchise quarterback, Dak Prescott. All right? Who's, I think fiance threw the ring back at him this. This winter.
[00:04:18] Speaker C: He's not the problem, dude. You know, he's not the problem.
[00:04:21] Speaker A: Jerry's the problem, you know, problem.
[00:04:24] Speaker C: Everybody knows that Jerry's the problem. Everybody understands and knows that.
[00:04:27] Speaker A: That's right. Jerry almost took a spill recently.
[00:04:30] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:04:31] Speaker A: Bill Clinton showed up. He was so excited. You know, he got a little Epstein energy. He popped up.
Yeah. He tripped across his fat son's foot or something as he was crossing the dais and almost landed in Bill's lap. Just like Monica.
He almost landed there.
[00:04:49] Speaker C: Did you see him on Landman, though? I thought he missed his calling. That was a damn good scene on. Landman was turned in by Jerry Jones. He did a. He did a great scene.
[00:04:58] Speaker A: And I. I've seen him on a. Landman. Once upon a time. I saw him on Entourage, the famous Entourage.
Shout out to Ari Gold, one of my role models.
And, you know, I saw the Netflix documentary, and I can tell you, I think he did miss his call. Yeah, he is. He is better at pretending to be a general manager, pretending to be president of football operations and. And pretending to be the owner of the most valuable NFL team in NFL history. But wait a minute.
[00:05:31] Speaker C: The most valuable franchise in sports.
[00:05:34] Speaker A: All sports.
More valuable than the Lakers, more valuable than the Yankees.
It's really quite the thing. And have not, you know, won anything in 30 years. 1996 was the last time they won it.
[00:05:47] Speaker C: You know, FIFA's coming here to my neck of the woods. You know that? Who is FIFA?
[00:05:52] Speaker B: The.
[00:05:52] Speaker C: It's the. The soccer thing.
[00:05:54] Speaker A: Yeah. Now. Now, do people in Texas know what soccer is?
You got liberty loving Latinos there. They must know, right?
[00:06:03] Speaker C: They probably do. I don't. You know, football's been my game, so I. And you know what they also did in the streets of Arlington, which is crazy, which is where Jerry World is. They turn the streets of Arlington into Formula one racing. I don't know if you caught that a couple of weeks ago.
[00:06:17] Speaker B: I. I did.
[00:06:18] Speaker A: I did do that. They're going to do that here. They're going to do that here in D.C. too. Monica, our friend Monica Crowley had them Formula One here. They're going to close off. They're going to, I think they're going to run what's called the, the J6 loop. Okay. Where they loop around. They're going to loop in the 1-6-500 around where the protesters were in and out of the buildings around the freaking Tidewater. I'm gonna love it.
[00:06:40] Speaker C: I was talking with, I was talking with Spicer yesterday, speaking of Crowley. I was talking with Spicer about his new book, and we were asking him about his evaluation of the national press secretary for the president. And who would be the next one if Caroline, you know, she's got two babies to raise. You know, usually they do about two years, three years maybe.
I think Carney was in there for Obama for like, the entire first term. But who would be next?
And he mentioned Crowley's, our good friend Crowley's name, that she would be. And not that he has any inside knowledge or anything.
[00:07:19] Speaker A: The former executive producer of the Monica Crowley show. Right?
[00:07:22] Speaker C: I know, I know. But wouldn't she be great?
[00:07:24] Speaker A: I could tell you this.
[00:07:26] Speaker C: She would be great.
[00:07:27] Speaker A: From, from Paula White to Stephen Miller to Headset and all the rest of the Publius PR clients and former clients that are up there, he. Trump won number one, Loves her. She is acquitting herself as the head of protocol in a way. And I sent her a message last week how proud of her I was when the king and queen, or a couple weeks ago when the king and queen were here.
And, you know, she's, she's at the, I mean, she's at the front row of history.
This is the front row of history. I said, I hope you're taking notes. You write everything down. You know, she, she worked for Richard Nixon. That was like her first sort of real professional gig.
She wrote two books with him. And now she's worked for Trump in both administrations. The media wouldn't know what to do with her up there because she is a refined educated. She's got a PhD and it's like I told everyone, I work with Laura Ingram, I work with Monica Crowley. They'll both kill you. They're both killers.
With Monica, she'll have the bright, sunny disposition as she slips her knife between your ribs.
[00:08:35] Speaker C: Exactly.
[00:08:36] Speaker A: Just like you'll actually want her to do both sides.
[00:08:39] Speaker C: You say, just like Senator Kennedy, she'll dagger you with a smile and you'll, you'll actually welcome you. It's so good.
[00:08:47] Speaker A: Yeah, I would love to see that. You know, I've been offered a couple of gigs up there. I always tell them they can't afford me, but I will say that, you know, if Monica calls for that gig, I might have to consider that. I might. I might have to consider that. You know, Peter Navarro, Sergio Gore, they all ask me, what do you want to do? This, that, the other thing. You know, I got the Navy secretary now, hunk house about to be promoted. He was my guy.
[00:09:11] Speaker C: Good man.
[00:09:12] Speaker A: But the reality here is that they have a great team. It's a better team than, than, Than the first term. And the one guy that we want to talk about who is, I think, a liberty loving Latino is not only Chris Salcedo, but Marco Rubio, you know, because he's the one guy up there that's got 17 jobs just like you, Chris. Yeah. You know, he's mopping the floor, he's putting a coat of wax on the beast. He's out there correcting the landscape, the landscaping team, he's firing people. He's doing it all. And I think he's a. I think he's. He's a superstar. And we might have an interesting primary in 2020.
[00:09:48] Speaker C: I love Rubio 2.0. Once he got out of that hen den known as the United States Senate, which is currently betraying every man, woman and child in this country. And I'm not exaggerating, folks. You got an 8515 issue with the Save America Act. And unlike the Democrats who took Obamacare and shoved it down our throats or up the nearest orifice, the Republicans say, I see that 85% of Americans want it, so we're not gonna give it to you because we're too busy affixing our lips in the nearest communist we can find rather than delivering for the American people. Shame on John Thune. Shame on the 20 or so according to Mark Meadows fake Republican senators he's protecting. Shame on John Cornyn.
Those people need to be primaried the hell out of government. They're useless. Boobies on a bull, man. Boobies on a bull.
[00:10:35] Speaker A: Well, I mean. Well, let's get into a little bit of that. I mean, what's going on down there in Texas? Because the argument, of course, is. And look, I'm not a purity test guy, okay? So if Cornyn can deliver me a single, double or triple and not be, you know, Rand Paul or Mike Lee, I might be okay with it if I don't lose the seat, right?
So. So if. If Cornyn doesn't make it through a primary, can the Democrats. Can this goofball abortion pastor, whatever the hell this guy is, can this guy actually win down there? Because I'm Gonna be honest with you. No, this is like the Democrats fool's goal. Every four years, six years, we're gonna turn Texas blue. Every time Ted Cruz, we're gonna get him. You know, me and Tucker, we're gonna go get him, you know, sir, and Tucker Talarico. What's his name?
[00:11:24] Speaker C: James Talarico.
He's a white fake Christian, folks who have some crazy things to say about Jesus. Look, about Cornyn. Look, I can tell you folks that the primaries where the action is in 2026, you need to vote out every fake Republican that has enabled these socialists and Marxists to do great amounts of damage. I can tell you if it's Cornyn or Talarico in the fall, it's. It's not going to make a tinker's damn bit of difference. The Democrats win either way. Ken, Wait a minute.
[00:11:52] Speaker A: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Salcedo, I think, Look, I'm not. Like I said, I'm not Mr. Purity Test.
[00:11:59] Speaker C: And how about winning? Do you like winning or not?
[00:12:02] Speaker A: I do like winning, but I also like, you know, confirming Alito or Thomas's replacement on the Supreme Court. And Tellarico is not going to vote for whoever Trump puts up.
[00:12:11] Speaker C: There's no guarantee that. What's his nuts, that Cornyn is going to do it either. As a matter of fact, Cornyn has been. Cornyn has been on the wrong side of President Trump his entire political life. The only reason now he claims to be pro Trump is because President Trump is the President of the United States when he's running for reelection. I've seen this little drama play out ever since I've been here in Texas. John Cornyn has been in the United States Senate for 24 years, been an elected official for 40, and nobody, not even his freaking donors, can name one damn thing he's done for our state. But we can name plenty of things he's done for socialists and Marxists.
[00:12:47] Speaker A: I.
Let me help you out. Let me help you out on this then. Okay, go ahead. I'll take the devil and his advocate and they can go drink some Modelo over there in the corner.
[00:12:56] Speaker C: I take a single from this guy. But we don't get it.
[00:12:59] Speaker A: Here's what I would say. One of John and let me help you out here. One of John Cornyn's. Just to bring it full circle. We're talking about Rubio.
Just to bring it full circle. One of the biggest boneheaded calls in history was that John Cornyn was in charge of the.
The National Senatorial Republican Campaign Committee. Whatever the hell it's called.
Yeah, right, right. They're supposed to elect new senators coming in. Cornyn decided during the Tea Party era that he was going to back and put money behind in a Senate primary.
Charlie Crist of Florida, okay, instead of Rubio.
So, you know, we talk about, like basketball teams that miss on big draft picks. Oh, I could have picked Kobe. I could, you know, I could have picked Jordan. I picked, you know, Brad Doherty or some, you know, some schmuck that ended up blowing their knee out. So Corny had Crisp and Rubio in front of him and he chose Chris, a man who is a little light in the loafers. He's not sure, you know what, what party he belongs to. He's a this, he's a that, he's there, he's, he's with Tom, he's with Dick, he's with Harry, he's with Sally, he's with Betty. I'm not sure who he's with, but he wasn't with the conservative movement and Cornyn blew it.
[00:14:17] Speaker C: Yeah, well, guess what? The tradition continues. First off, I think it's telling that you got Crist, a guy who is a squishy moderate Republican at best, sometimes a Democrat, sometimes a leftist, sometimes a Marxist, like you said, you don't know, but it's telling that John Cornyn chose him over a liberty loving Latino like, like Marco Rubio. That's number one. Number two, the tradition continues. I'm here to tell you folks, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, which is dead to me, dead to me. They spent $100 million on this rhino by the name of Cornyn, not to defeat Democrats, but to defeat Ken Paxton, who is the most conservative Attorney general who has defended me and mine and you and yours at every turn. He's been the number one obstacle to Obama. He's been the number one obstacle to President Otto Pen and Beijing, Biden and the so called Republicans spent $100 million to defeat him, not Democrats. That shows you where the National Republican Senatorial Committee's priorities are, folks. And I'm out.
[00:15:16] Speaker A: See, this is why I love Texas. Because Texas even, and once upon a time, it was its own country.
Some days it still thinks it is, but the politics there are so amazing because it's almost like a microcosm of the national discussion between establishment and conservative or populists or libertarians. And it's funny because, you know, I've got clients all across Texas here at Publius PR and one of them, you know, crazy old Dr. Steve Hoi out, say Katy Texas, that guy, he has had it. He has had it with the corny. He has had it with all of them. You know, Governor Abbott, he don't like him. He don't like none of it. So I do, I do hear all the voices and I think, I wish all the other states would act like Texas because this is a healthy debate. It's something we have to go through. Look, ladies and gentlemen, this is dangerous laughter. As you can tell, Salcedo and I have known each other a long time.
[00:16:14] Speaker C: Long time.
[00:16:15] Speaker A: I changed his life, right? He's going to tell that story later on in the show, all right, about how he changed his life. And look, he's got a great new book out. The Rise of the liberty loving Latino. I am AJ Rice. This is dangerous laughter. We will be right back. In today's breaking news, the Curse of the Bearded lady by AJ Rice has already hit number one on Amazon new releases and it is only on pre sale.
[00:16:39] Speaker C: You should be women and yet your
[00:16:42] Speaker D: beards forbid me to interpret that you are so.
Someone once said comedy is the art of turning horror into humor. That's the essence of. Of the Curse of the Bearded Lady. Laughing in the face of madness before it devours us whole. The curse of a Bearded lady.
[00:17:01] Speaker C: And now a historic moment in dangerous laughter.
The year is 1992 and George Carlin explains why he is tired of Earth Day.
[00:17:11] Speaker D: Are these people kidding me? Save the planet.
[00:17:13] Speaker C: We don't know how to take care of ourselves yet.
[00:17:15] Speaker D: We haven't learned how to help one another. We're going to save the planet and getting tired of that. I'm tired of Earth Day. I'm tired of these self righteous environmentalists. I'm tired of these white liberal, bourgeois liberal white people who think the only thing wrong with this planet is there aren't enough bicycle paths trying to make the world safe and clean for their Volvos. And I'm really sick, really sick of these rock stars and movie stars gonna work off their cocaine guilt by saving a forest somewhere. Besides. Besides there's nothing besides the first of all, the environmentalists don't give a about the planet. They don't care about the planet. Not in the abstract. They don't know what they're interested in. A clean place to live, their own habitat. They're worried that someday in the future they might be personally inconvenienced. Narrow, unenlightened self interest doesn't impress me. Besides, there's nothing wrong with the planet. The planet is fine. The people are.
The people are.
[00:18:14] Speaker C: You have just Been held spellbound by a moment in dangerous laughter.
Now back to our regular scheduled program.
[00:18:21] Speaker D: The management of this station are clueless.
You're listening to Dangerous Laughter with AJ Rice on the Publius Media Network.
[00:18:34] Speaker A: And welcome back, dangerous laughter with A.J. rice.
Where? Oh, I don't know. We are unfit for polite society here, I think. I mean, Salcedo might be right, but there's no substitute for perfectly timed derision. And we got Chris Salcedo with us. The great Salcedo not wearing his sombrero today, but he's got a great book out, the Rise of the Liberty Loving Latino the New American Revolution. And you know, Chris, it's funny, I wrote a little bit about this in the White Privilege album that you can see behind me there, about how the more successful Latins become and Hispanics become, the more, you know, they take control of their own destiny.
The fact that they, you know, don't have abortions and rarely get divorced.
That like our Asian friends, you know, I've talked to Kenny Hsu about this and he wrote about it himself, that Hispanics and Latins are slowly in the minds of the left, becoming something called white adjacent. Yes, White adjacent. So not. I mean, I love this. It's hilarious. I write about it, I write satire. But it's, it's at the same time hilarious but also so insulting that.
And it's weird in a roundabout way. They're kind of giving white people compliments. Like it's, you know, you get up and go to work every day and you don't have a tattoo on your face and you, you're married and you have a nuclear family and, you know, you're a member of the middle class and you're trying to get there. And look, they do this to blacks, they do it to Asians. They do it now anyway. Somehow you're trying to be white adjacent that you're not, you know, you're not keeping it real. You're not, you know, from the streets. And it's, it's insulting. But the difference, of course, is, you know, they have. The left has spent a long time trying to find replacements or black people. We talk about the replacement theory because they always need some kind of underclass to abuse a victim.
[00:20:34] Speaker C: They need a victim. I wrote about the White Privilege album in the Rise of the Liberty Loving Latino. Quoted your stanza about this. To make my broader point, folks, I want to remind you, you guys remember who Bill Richardson was.
[00:20:47] Speaker A: Former governor, governor, ambassador to the UN or whatever the hell he was. That's right.
[00:20:53] Speaker C: Here's a guy who said of Ted Cruz that he wasn't a real Hispanic because. And this was the subtext because he wasn't a raging leftist, Marxist, communist betrayer of the country. And so this is what the Democrats do. They need a victim. And you know what, frankly folks, if you look throughout American history, they have chewed up every minority group and spit them out when they no longer become useful. They did it to the blacks, they did it to Latinos when we voted against them in particular in the last election. And that's what the rise of the liberty loving Latino was all about. They did it to the gays. And now they're on. Now they're onto the trans, the trans bandwagon. They're running out of special interest groups to divide the country. And that's why they're importing a whole bunch of people from 168 countries illegally into this country is because they need a new victimized class to keep themselves in power.
[00:21:44] Speaker A: That's exactly right.
[00:21:45] Speaker C: We expose in my book.
[00:21:48] Speaker A: And it's not just, I mean, look, the Democrat Party, we could go back to Jefferson, but if you just go back to, you know, the Civil War, for example. Yeah. They have a long history of sort of what they think is entitled minority ownership. Okay? And it's, it's it. They were the, the party of slavery, they were the party of the Klan, they were the party of Jim Crow, they were the party of segregation, the party of eugenics. But like if you look at Irish immigrants in New York City in the late 19th century, they, they went in and tried to own them. That's what Tammany hall was, that's what Boss Tweed, Democrat, basically promising stuff to newly arrived Irish. That's how they got their power, by capturing Irish Catholics and then by inserting them into the police department and the fire department and so on. So there is a long history of the Democrat Party. And it's not, it's, it's even of Western Europeans. It's not just of Latins or blacks or Native Americans or Asians coming off, you know, the people coming in from Vietnam and so on. You know, they, this is what they do. This is their M.O. it's almost like they've been fighting against the outcome of Appomattox Courthouse, which is where Lee surrendered to Grant in the Civil War here in the Commonwealth of Virginia. And you know, they've been fighting against that outcome ever since.
So, so the Latinos. And look, here's the thing. They made a huge mistake importing a bunch of Catholics from Communist dumps. Communist dumps. Okay. You can ask Rubio Salcedo, ask people that escape Venezuela. So, I mean, they, they have, might have, they might have imported their own doom.
[00:23:35] Speaker C: Well, look, let's, let's, you're always ready. History, folks, what you need to know about AJ Rice is he has a photographic, photographic memory of history. He knows, he has forgotten more about history than I've ever learned. Let's, let's bring it to something that just happened. The 2024 election. After the 2024 election and after all of these Latinos in historic, historic numbers, we're talking 48% of Latinos writ large voted for President Trump. Majority of Latino males voted for President Trump. What was the first thing that morning Brzezinski did? What was the first thing the left did is they went on the air the next day and they said of Latinos, you're a bunch of chauvinists.
You're a bunch of women haters. And it's like, what the hell? You want to know exactly what gets Democrats to turn on you?
It's vote against them, vote against communism, vote against totalitarian rule from an all powerful government. Then you're going to see what the Democrats really think of you because they've shown every Latino what they really thought of us.
[00:24:33] Speaker A: That's right. And let's, let's. Cordani, let's grab that Barack Obama story. If you can somehow flash that up on the screen here in a second. Barack Obama in the aftermath of the 2024 election. He's on the Breakfast Club and he's trying to explain why Hispanics voted for Trump.
Chris, you got that story.
[00:24:56] Speaker C: I, I know the story and I know Barack Hussein Obama very well.
[00:25:01] Speaker A: That's right.
[00:25:02] Speaker C: He is a, he's a Marxist. He has been instrumental.
[00:25:05] Speaker A: Here we go.
[00:25:06] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:25:07] Speaker A: Obama criticized Hispanic voters that picked Trump, basically saying, and I got it right here in front of me, that this is insane. So I'll say it only give it to you, okay. That he's talking to Charlemagne, the right, Charlemagne, the surprised. Now, there's a lot of evangelical Hispanics, Catholic Hispanics, who, you know, the fact that Trump says racist things about Mexicans or puts detainees and undocumented workers in cages, they were his cages. You know, in fact, when he opens the new library, when you go into the gift shop, they sell those cages at the new library. I'm not sure you're wearing that.
He says they think that it's less important than the fact that, you know, he supports their views on gay marriage and Abortion. So this is. This is what?
So he's speaking for all Hispanics now. He's saying Hispanics went for Trump because Trump. Because he, you know, supports Trump on gay marriage and abortion. Not, you know, not. Not an enterprise system for small business. Not, you know, stemming the flow of immigration, which Hispanics get hit first because they live along the freaking border in the south. They live in the border states. That's not to say every state's not a border state. But Obama can't get out of his own boxes. He's got Latin people in the little jars. A little bit on ad jars. Yeah, right.
Yeah.
[00:26:30] Speaker C: And that's the problem. We didn't stay on the Democrat reservation, folks.
The whole talk about race, the whole discussion about what AJ did in his book, what I did in mine, is dismantling this notion that we have a race problem or we have a gender problem or we have a gay problem. There is no other problem in this world, in this country, than leftists. That's. It's America first versus America last. It's those who want to breathe free or those who want to enslave the population. That's the debate at bottom. And that's what. Barack Hussein Obama, who I was told I couldn't call him by his real name. Why do you have to say that? I said, because it's his freaking name. Well, that just identifies you as what? A conservative? And accurate. That's what the hell I am. I'm a conservative and I'm accurate, and I know who my enemy is. And Barack Hussein Obama is an enemy to all Americans. Whether you call yourself black, whether you call yourself white, whether you call yourself Asian or Latino. Barack Obama, not by virtue of the fact that the man has pigmented skin, is your enemy. It's because he's a leftist and a Marxist. He is the enemy of mankind. Like all of those, whether they be white or brown or black who think like him. That's right.
[00:27:41] Speaker A: That's right. Chris, get that Jill Biden cut. Ready to go here for a second. And look, we have Hussein in the membrane here at Dangerous Laughter. You know, we put Cypress Hill on, and we have Hussein in the membrane, Hussein in the brain.
You know, the guy. Here's the thing. This is a fancy guy now, right? He could try to still play the old street thug that he was, you know, the Alinsky hot dog vendor. But the. But the reality is that he, you know, he wears his Brioni suits.
He. He goes into the. You know, he tries to talk like he. He understands what's going on in the streets. The man has five homes. He talks down to blacks. He flew to Pittsburgh in this room full of, of African American bunch of Steelers fans in Pittsburgh. And he tried to explain to them during the last election that he was, he was shocked that a lot of the brothers in here that they, you know, they were, they were, they were wavering on Camala because she's a woman, but she's from the streets. She's a sister from the streets. I don't know what street. She's from Marin County. I don't know what street she's from. She's from where, Vancouver or wherever they have McGill, corner of Willie and Brown.
[00:28:47] Speaker C: That's where she's from.
[00:28:48] Speaker A: Yeah, well, that's not the streets. That's under the desk. But it's, it's, here's the, here's another way that the Democrats think and generalize.
Here's Jill Biden. This is the infamous Dr. Jill. She's a doctor of changing Joe's diapers.
Here's what she thinks of Hispanics. The diversity of this community as distinct as the Bogotas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio. Oh, my God.
Is your strength.
Well, did you know Chris, ladies and gentlemen, news flash. Chris Sato is as unique as a breakfast taco. Breakfast taco? Yeah, a breakfast taco. You know, I don't know what kind of breakfast taco, but he's definitely not a vegan breakfast taco.
[00:29:46] Speaker C: Let me tell you.
[00:29:46] Speaker A: Let me tell you something.
[00:29:48] Speaker C: I have a Traeger grill and I have been putting in the Traeger grill, experimenting with smoking. I make the meanest as your liberty loving Latino meanest pork, smoked pork roast that you've ever sunk your teeth into.
[00:30:02] Speaker A: I don't.
[00:30:02] Speaker C: I can do that. I can do crepes, which is French, you know, I can do.
I can do with the banana and the pineapple mixture inside of it. I can do that. And you know, I can do all manner of cuisine out there.
In defining me and mine by, by calling us breakfast tacos, it shows you what these white socialists and Marxists really think of us folks. Where they want to put us in certain little boxes where we fit in their stupid little worlds. And you know what? I'm more than a freaking breakfast taco. I'm no minority doctor, sorry, Dr. Jill. I'm an American.
So don't trivialize me the way you and your kind often do. And that's why I oppose you. That's why real Americans oppose you people. Because real Americans know and understand that we don't fit into this box you left us and you Marxists want to put us into for your own political convenience.
[00:30:59] Speaker A: That's right. You know what it is? It's. And look, you know, the liberty loving Latino is making grapes. He's been sitting around reading Julia Child's cookbooks.
[00:31:08] Speaker C: That's right.
[00:31:09] Speaker A: So he could do that. He could do the carnitas and he can do, you know,
[00:31:16] Speaker C: Everybody, lots of coin. Let me have another dip of that sherry. It will be a very good one.
[00:31:21] Speaker A: You know, there was a Democrat, famous Democrat from New York State, New York City, who had a term.
And you know, they don't make Democrats really like this anymore. Maybe Fetterman on his good days when he's, when he's charged the batteries.
And his name was Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
[00:31:41] Speaker C: I remember Mr. Moynihan. Yeah.
[00:31:43] Speaker A: And he had a phrase that explains Jill. It explains what Salcedo's talking about in this book. You got to go to Amazon, get this book, guys. The rise of the liberty loving Latino.
You know, you got to go find some liberty loving Italians, some liberty loving Irish, some liberty loving Polish and share in the beauty of this book. Everybody sharing the beauty.
[00:32:06] Speaker C: You know, every single time somebody buys a book, whether in audio form, you know, my dulcet tones, can, can, can on your workout, on your drive, I can, I can read the book to you or you can, if you like the tactile sensation of a book, go ahead and get it and, and get it in hardcover. But every single time you buy one of these books, kids, an angel gets his or her wings. You're doing your bit not only for king and country, but you're doing a bit for, for God in heaven. So go ahead, just, just, just go
[00:32:31] Speaker A: ahead and buy it. And, you know, for the ladies out there, you know, you can get the aud Mr. Salcedo and you know, lay in bed at night and listen to the dulcet tones as he serenades you with the audiobook. So Daniel Patrick Moynihan had a phrase.
There was the soft bigotry of low expectations, right? And this is, this is how they talk to all groups, whether it was the Irish, whether it's African Americans or whether it's the Latinos or, you know, you know, you, you know, the Korean that owns the laundromat or the China, the Taiwanese that owns the restaurant or whatever the hell it is. This is, it turns out, really their only argument. And what's crazy is when they run out of first world immigrants. As we can now see, they're bringing in second and third world immigrants. People that are really far removed from Western civilization. Right? These are not the descendants of Cortez and Coronado and Magellan and Ponce de Leon and Christopher Columbus. These are people that are the descendants or the ancestors of Manani.
Right? Mr. Nepo baby. We've got a Ugandan Packy Indian Nepo baby, Communist rapper wearing overalls. Are you kidding me? Rapper as the mayor of New York City, that is what they see as their future.
And that's why, that's why when the more Hispanics break towards the Republican party, the more it scares them, the more they think they gotta, they gotta import the rest of the world to try to offset.
[00:34:11] Speaker C: You know, I'm glad you, I'm glad you brought everybody into it because a lot of people might see the title of the book and say, wow, this is only speaking to Latinos. No, actually I liken it to this way. Remember what was going on in the dark days of World War II.
The Allies were up against it. It was before Pearl harbor. Then the United States was brought in and then new energy came to the war. The totalitarians got beat back because of America's entrance into the war. That's how you ought to look at the rise of the liberty loving Latino. Those of you out there who were battling to remain free, you just had millions, and I mean millions of liberty loving Latinos joined the fight saying, you know what, I don't want to be divided anymore. I want to be the United States of America once again. And you just had millions of people join the fight. And A.J. it's not just a blueprint of, hey, what led up to a bunch of Latinos saying, hey, I don't believe little Susie can be little Johnny. I don't believe that men can be women and women can be men. I don't want men and women's sports. It was part of what built up to the 2024 election.
But it's not only a blueprint of what happened and how we got here, it's a blueprint moving forward, how we can keep America first going. And that's what the, and that's what it's pertinent in the 2026 midterms. You read this book, folks. I don't want to say it's like it's Bible esque, because that would be sacrilegious. But you are going to have a better idea because the number one lament I get is how do I tell if my Republicans are rhino? How do I know? You read this book and you're going to know.
[00:35:39] Speaker A: That's right.
[00:35:40] Speaker C: That's right.
[00:35:40] Speaker A: And look, I. You know, I've been making this case since the last presidential election. You know, there were two blue walls that came down in the last election. There was the one in the, you know, the upper Midwest, the Rust Belt, the Pennsylvanias, the Ohio's, the Michigan's and the Wisconsin, and we have to hold those. And that came down because of no tax on tips. And that came down also because of, you know, the unions basically realizing that the left has thrown in with the environmental radicals and has kind of left them behind. Yeah, look at New York, the famous smokestack. The steel. The steel. The coal. The cattle. Right. The corn. No, that, you know, and they're going to do that. They will choose hocus pocus environmental nonsense over you.
[00:36:24] Speaker C: And, I mean, Donnie is already driving so many of these people. There was a headline story that came out today about a $6 billion business leaving New York because Mandani doxed them. And it's like, this is what communists do. It's like, hey, you know what? For me, this is gonna be controversial. AJ to all you people in New York who voted for this communist thug, you get what you deserve. You got the government. You deserve.
[00:36:47] Speaker A: Go ahead, continue. That's right. And here's the thing. The Teamsters, true in AFL cio, they either didn't make an endorsement or they were winking at Trump. So there was a blue wall that came down there. The other blue wall, Texas in. Down along the Texas Mexican border. These are counties from what, El Paso down to, you know, Corpus Christi or whatever down there. Right.
[00:37:11] Speaker C: You know, I had Democrats coming on my show, coming on my show, AJ Saying I have called the Beijing Biden White House trying to ask for some relief. Because you brought the point earlier that the Latino communities along the border are the first ones to get inundated with massive illegal, criminal, illegal immigration. And they got wiped out. And they were begging for relief. Democrats were begging the Democrat regime for relief. And the Democrat regime was saying, screw you. Take this one for the team. Take this one for the team. And Latinos said, no, screw you. And all of those counties flipped red in the last election.
[00:37:44] Speaker A: So that was the other blue wall. It was along the border. I mean, you have to understand, they're right on the front line. They are right in the foxhole of the nonsense that Biden was allowing to happen on that border for four years, you know, and, and, and we need to try to hold them. We need to try to hold them. And here's the thing, but before you
[00:38:06] Speaker C: go on to that one, back to John Cornyn. You know who voted for that agenda every step of the way, John Cornyn. He voted for that $1.8 trillion omnibus that said that prohibited didn't just say, hey, we're not going to allocate the money. We prohibit any money be used for infrastructure to stop individuals from breaking into the country. The only thing we'll permit in that $1.8 trillion was to facilitate the importation of more criminal illegal aliens. Cruz voted no. Cornyn voted yes. As a matter of fact, he voted yes on every single socialist Marxist fake budget that Beijing Biden put out. That's what you get when you vote for John Cornyn. That's right.
[00:38:47] Speaker A: Bring the Latin lightning today. You're as this is Chris Salcedo, guys.
You're listening to one of the best broadcasters in America as far as I'm concerned. He's got a new book out, the Rise of the Liberty Loving Latino. We're going to take a quick break. I am AJ Rice. This is Dangerous Laughter. We will be right back. So, AJ CNN wants you to understand extremism better. And you can guess who has the biggest extremism problem. Watch. When it comes to extremism in this country, these people. The issue, very much so is on the right, on the far right from, you know, from Charlottesville to January 6th. There isn't exactly an equivalent on the left in this moment. All right, AJ The Irishman is telling us about the, about the extremism. And the Black Irish only goes one way.
[00:39:37] Speaker C: That's right.
[00:39:38] Speaker A: It's the Black Irish. You know, it's always, they always let the very fine people show up any chance they can. But they forget about, you know, when Rand Paul got his ribs broken by his neighbor or Steve Scalise got shot or we had some lunatic running around in Brett Kavanaugh's neighborhood looking for him. It's always us. It's never the Tesla burners.
[00:39:56] Speaker D: Right.
[00:39:56] Speaker A: It's never the college campuses, you know, hunting down Jewish students. No, it's always the very fine people. And January 6th, no, it's tedious. Lisa, you're never an extremist except extremely intelligent. Same with A.J. kind of, or at least funny for Philly guy.
[00:40:12] Speaker C: We, we try.
[00:40:13] Speaker A: AJ thank you both very much.
[00:40:15] Speaker C: And now please enjoy another elegant celebrity endorsement of dangerous laughter with A.J.
[00:40:22] Speaker B: rice.
Hello, A.J. rice. This is Martin Cove, aka John Kreese and I just want to chat with you a little bit about some things.
You may be the host of Dangerous Laughter, but sometimes in life you have to be dangerous without laughter. Always remember, your enemies think that their right, they are signaling their virtue. They think they're the hero and you're the villain. I think I talked about that in the Cobra Kai. Let them. Do not host this podcast to be merciful. Do not host it to make friends. It's your duty to be unstoppable, to be inevitable. They call you the baby faced assassin, so show them why. Listen to your sensei. You're ready. And remember, mercy is for the weak. Here and on the streets. Somebody confronts you, they are the enemy. And the enemy deserves no mercy. So remember, you are the way of the fist. Strike first, strike hard. No mercy. And fear doesn't live in your dojo. Pain doesn't live in your dojo. And defeat certainly doesn't live there. So have a great podcast and remember one thing.
Cobra Kai never dies and neither does John Kreese.
[00:41:29] Speaker C: This endorsement has been brought to you by Collapsing standards and everywhere. And now back to Dangerous Laughter.
[00:41:38] Speaker D: Stay locked in with the man who slayed the Woking dead.
This is Dangerous Laughter with AJ Rice on the Publius Media Network.
[00:41:49] Speaker A: And we are back. Welcome back to Dangerous Laughter. I am your host, AJ Rice on the bridge of the USS Publius. We are your escort through the Strait of Hormuz, but we are not your escort through the gay of Hormuz. We are not. We are definitely not that. And we've got Chris Salcedo, the liberty loving Latino today on the program. We've been talking to him about Hispanics and America and liberty. And, you know, he's got this great new book out, the Rise of the Liberty Loving Latino. And I just want to tell you the audience doesn't know this yet. And we're going to put this up on the website. If you go to Publius PR or Dangerous Laughter PR and you buy a copy of this book, you get a pair of denim shorts.
You get it? You get a pair of denim shorts here. Now these are, these are denim shorts. These are Lee, they're from Kohl's here, right? Yeah, I think, I think it's 48.
If you get, you get this pair. This is a great, this is a great gift. Right? Father's Day's coming up, you know, and Salcedo made these shorts. They're, they're now, I think, referred to by Gen Z as Jorts.
[00:42:59] Speaker C: Jorts.
[00:43:00] Speaker A: Famous Famous. So Salcedo has moved up in the fashion world. He doesn't wear denim shorts any longer. That's a little bit of an inside joke. But you can get, you can get if you buy your copy of this book. Now get yourself some jorts. All right, Chris, where were we? Well, go ahead.
[00:43:21] Speaker C: You're gonna make me tell about you changed my life story. You're gonna make me tell.
This was a long time ago when Obama first got into office and he killed the United States economy, which communists do. And what we saw in the. And I was in television news at the time.
I was in TV news at the time. And I made three rounds of firings at CBS owned and operated, CBS 11 and TXA 21 in Dallas Fort Worth. And I couldn't make it past the third layout.
They had people that were in contracts, solid contracts that these businesses because of Obama were saying, you know what? We're gonna break the contracts. We can't afford you anymore. Sue us.
That's what they did. And it was going on everywhere. So I found myself a victim of Barack Hussein Obama's economy.
And I called up A.J. rice, who was the executive producer for the Laura Ingraham show and also for
[00:44:25] Speaker A: a vice president of program. I was vice president of content at America's Radio News Network.
[00:44:32] Speaker C: America's Radio News Network. And so I wasn't ready to start the Chris Salcedo show yet and get rid of news and go into opinion.
So what A.J. rice provided for me and for my family and we had to do some time in D.C. to get there. But it was, it was good because I moved closer to AJ and that was the lifeline that would ultimately lead to the launching of the Chris Salcedo show, returning back to Texas, the Blaze Radio Network, hiring me as a host and launching the Chris Salcedo show. And the rest is history. But it was because of A.J. rice, who recognized back before it was a thing, the rise, the liberty loving Latino and thus changed my life. And I told him I made the mistake.
[00:45:17] Speaker A: Change my life.
[00:45:17] Speaker C: Chris telling him so, changing my life. And he did. And he did. And so, buddy, it was.
It's something. It's a great story to tell and it's what I'm proud to tell.
[00:45:28] Speaker A: Well, look, I like the idea that I am kind of like a shrewd general manager of, you know, a sports franchise. And I'm always looking for new talent, right?
So whether it's, you know, so, you know, whether it's for broad, any type of broadcast, or a possible PR person Or whatever it is. I mean, my team here at Dangerous Laughter come from, you know, a variety of different places. They don't come from the same place. Holly and Kim and Chris and. And people at Publius pr, You know, Drew and Sutton and others. And. And, you know, but when it comes to, you know, trying to find that talent, you. Sometimes you have to pan for gold, and other times, you know, you kind of trip over it.
But I, you know, I'm honored that not only did I change your life, but I at least provided that sort of a launch pad to go from that network to Glenn Beck to Real America's Voice to Newsmax tv. And now you've got a million brands and books and you do columns and podcasts, so. Bravo, brother. I'm very proud of you.
[00:46:32] Speaker C: Yeah. Thank you kindly for saying it. And do you remember how long ago that was, how long you and I have known each other?
[00:46:38] Speaker A: 16 years. 15 or 16 years. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:46:41] Speaker C: Crazy.
[00:46:42] Speaker A: That's right. And look, you know, Salcedo no longer wears denim shorts, ladies. So don't not buy his book because he wears denim shorts. Thank you.
Here's the thing. So the left has heroes that they build up. Yeah.
Sometimes these are historical figures that they, you know, build a mythology around.
Sometimes that mythology falls apart.
Sometimes it's, you know, current figures in the modern age that they will use until they're no longer useful.
So whether that's, you know, a Harvey Weinstein type figure and they're right, or, you know, or. And others. There's been plenty of others. Right. Where you. You're. You're dispatched. Right.
So I think.
[00:47:32] Speaker C: I think there are plenty of individuals out there. I did not have sexual relations with that woman.
I still think I'm useful. I'm useful to the Democrats.
[00:47:41] Speaker A: He is. He is. He was the Great Stain. He was the great Stainmaker for sure.
So there's this character, and Salcedo writes about him. He's talked about him named Cesar Chavez.
Right. Who, you know, was this, you know, civil rights leader, farm worker. I was told that he was like the Hispanic Martin Luther King. This. This character. No, his statues are everywhere.
His statues are everywhere. There's streets named after him. I. It looks like Cal State San Marcos campus took down some statue of him. I see their streets being renamed. I. I think they're being called, you know, Michael Obama Avenue or something now, along those lines.
So tell the audience who was Cesar Chavez?
[00:48:29] Speaker C: Cesar shot, you know, about him?
[00:48:31] Speaker A: And why The Democrats, their own. Their own craziness, their own little mini revolutions. The MeToo movement to this, the that, how they come along and they eat these people.
[00:48:42] Speaker C: Can I, Can I. Is adult language allowed on this broadcast? I didn't ask. It is because this goes back to when Salcedo is in Govid and the first time I ever heard my father cuss in front of me. I'm 8 years old and I come home from school.
[00:49:00] Speaker A: Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, look.
[00:49:02] Speaker C: I colored Cesar Chavez. It Cesar Chavez day.
And I was so proud.
And this is when I knew that the foundations of what a liberty loving Latino would be. Because my dad looked down at me, he looked at the color, the coloring project that my school had me do and the words fucking communist came out of my father's mouth.
And then he turned and he walked away.
That was the first time I can remember my father cursing.
And I think it was.
It's a funny story, but I think it's foundational because early on I learned a disdain.
[00:49:41] Speaker A: And you never heard him curse watching the Dodgers prior to that? No, no.
[00:49:45] Speaker C: In fact, you know, and you know my dad coach little league for 20 years.
[00:49:49] Speaker A: That's right.
[00:49:50] Speaker C: I never picked up a mitt. I ended up being a football guy. So anywho. So Cesar Chavez. If you folks want to know the real story about Cesar Chavez, first off, he's not fit to shine Dr. Martin Luther King shoes. Let me tell you what he was.
This guy was a labor union leader and he did. This is something that he is responsible for. He improved working conditions on farms, primarily in California. They were hiring labor, illegal and legal labor.
[00:50:19] Speaker A: Right.
[00:50:19] Speaker C: He improved working conditions. That's something you can't take away from the man. Here's what he's not a civil rights leader.
This man led and his family led hit squads with Democrats in tow down to the US Mexico border and kicked the crap out of illegal aliens for busting his union. That was the Democrat Marxist who Cesar Chavez was. That was their solution to their unions being busted as kicking the crap out of illegal aliens. Let me tell you what Cesar Chavez called illegal aliens when he testified before Congress in 1979. Now we conservatives just don't want them busting into America. We want them coming in legally. Right? We have never dehumanized these people.
But Cesar Chavez called them in congressional testimony. He called them human contraband.
That's what Democrats think of individuals who step outside of their agenda. Cesar Chavez is a thug. Cesar Chavez was and is a thug. And you know what? Every single left wing bastion that tried to charge you taxpayers money because it's incredibly expensive when they Change street names, you've got to change stationary, you got to change mailing addresses. It's all the costs they pass on to businesses and to you, the taxpayer.
[00:51:38] Speaker A: You know, I never. Wait a minute. I never even thought of that, dude.
[00:51:41] Speaker C: That's right.
[00:51:42] Speaker A: If you own it. That's right. If you own a business. Yes. Cesar Chavez, the Diddler Avenue.
Yeah. Now you gotta change. You gotta change all your signage, dude.
[00:51:55] Speaker C: You gotta change it back because they, because you had, you know, Smith Avenue or J Street before, and then they changed it to Cesar Chavez because you brought this up. The left has their icons, right? Their icons are all lies. It's all propaganda. Just like Stalin was a hero, the guy was a thug. Just like Marx was a hero. It's all manufactured. And that's what the left wing does. And Cesar Chavez is a creation of the left to try to make a hero. And by the way, Bears pointing out, and we talk about in the book too, the left wing has rejected Dr. Martin Luther King, who said that people ought to be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. And the Democrat Party and leftists, with the aid of some fake Republicans have rejected that.
[00:52:42] Speaker A: That's right. That's right.
You know, the thing about, I mean, I just, from my perspective, I always sort of got a little, you know, bit of glee that sort of wells up inside of me when these Frank, these activist Frankenstein monster movements turn around and like the Donner Party, like freaking, freaking Lord of the Flies, they end up eating their own icons, eating their own superstars. It's an amazing thing when it happens. I love every bit of it.
Turning back to the book, the Chap, the chapter one, it's called the Rise of the Liberty Loving Latino. And the Maga Fest Destiny. Maga Fest destiny, which of course is a tip to manifest Destiny. And I just want to say, you know, one of the reasons Trump won is because he was able to get a lot of people that probably don't want to have dinner together to all vote in unison for him. That is a big tent. It's something Reagan pulled off. It's something Nixon pulled off. So as we sort of move into the future, we might have a primary situation between Marco Rubio and J.D. vance.
What, from your perspective is the Maga Fest destiny? You know, how do we get there and can any figure? Because Trump is somebody that has broken the mold. He's a counterculture icon that will ring down through the ages like Teddy Roosevelt and Churchill and many other people, because he's not just A political figure, he's also a cultural figure. And when you cross, and he always was one, he was that first. So once you sort of cross that divide, you never can unsee him, right? The left, never. I mean, talk about taking down Caesar Cesar Chavez statues. I saw that Palm Beach County, Palm Beach International Airport, which I fly into quite a bit, it's going to rename its airport after Donald John Trump, the 45th and 47th president. So tell me, how do we go into the future?
The Maga Fest destiny. Well, who can harness it and who can't.
[00:54:54] Speaker C: Donald J. Trump will go down in history when the Barack Hussein Obamas and all the other dictators and totalitarians have long been forgotten his name. Because if not because he was the Apprentice, not because he was a multi billionaire, but because of the real tangible and consequential policies and changes of direction that he has brought to the United States.
The pushback against China, which by the way, folks, you wanna know what Venezuela is all about? You wanna know what Iran is all about? You wanna know everything economically the United States is doing right now, Everything that we are doing is geared at stopping communist China, which led to the extraordinary move the other day. Cuz they're back into a corner. They're facing a demographic time bomb and they're backed into a corner economically. They came out and said, ignore US sanctions on Iran. They have never been that blunt. Because he's forcing them to reveal who and what they are, the enemies that they have been and will continue to be. Trump's name will echo throughout the ages, as AJ So rightly put it, because he made consequential decisions that said that no future Congress, no future president will have to factor in Iran as far as defense spending, defense strategies and their threat to mankind.
They won't have to factor that in. And that hasn't been the case for 50 years in this country. Right, Courtesy of Carter and all the rest who didn't do anything to counter Iran. This man had the guts to, to do it.
So what Maga Fest destiny is, folks, the America first coalition that we've seen spring up, which by the way, John Thune and company opposes, which the individuals who are Republicans and Democrats. I told you, there's a new political divide in this country.
It's America first and America last. That's it. And both parties are on both sides of that. That's the new political divide. And when it's all said and done, well, the Trump legacy will be this. Americans will be proud to be Americans again, will understand that this country was, is good and deserves to be, to go on and not on the ash heap of history, as so many individuals have set us on a course to do. From the Bushes to the weak fake Republicans and the socialists and Marxists who have overtaken the entire Democrat Party.
It is now fashionable again to love your country. And that's Trump's lasting legacy.
[00:57:25] Speaker A: And I think, you know, Hispanics appreciate strength. They appreciate family first. They also know that, you know, none of us are perfect people. Trump isn't. It was only way, you know, depending upon what deity you got, you know, if you're a Christian or Catholic, there's only, there was only one perfect person. And it's never going to be a president. It's never going to be a host of a podcast. And the reality is, I think, you know, that kind of scares, that scares the left because Hispanics can't be, they can't play divide and conquer with Hispanics in the same way they could with African Americans because of the, the, you know, the remnant of the history of how African Americans got here. And they were able to sort of, Johnson and FDR were able to replace the father with government programs.
So I think as the rise of the liberty loving Latinos takes place, you know, it, it scares them. It scares them. And I just want to bring up one image. There was one image that started all of this. It started the Hispanic love for Donald Trump.
And I just want to remind the audience what that image was. Cordani, give me that image for Salcedo there. That's right. This, the happy Cinco de Mayo.
The best taco balls are in Trump Tower. That's where it all began. I think that's. What was the date on that thing, 2016 or something like 20, 2012. I'm telling you right now, this man, you know, obviously we're having some fun. It's one of the greatest tweets of all time.
But I think, you know, he tapped into something.
I'm not sure he even knows. He, he taps it.
But there is a sort of every man's American dream laced into everything he does. Now. He's not, he's not going to sit and read Russell Kirk like Reagan.
He's not, he's, he's more of a, of an instinct person.
[00:59:27] Speaker C: Yeah.
One of the greatest political strategists, by instinct alone, not studying it. Just know. And you know what, and that's what, that's, that's what Rush Limbaugh observed. The reason why the only person that can separate Trump from those who voted for him and follow him is him. The media can't do it. The Democrats can't do it.
He has a bond with those who know and understand who and what he is that can't be broken only by him.
[00:59:56] Speaker A: That's right. That's right. Well, look, Chris, it's really been a pleasure having you today.
You've interviewed me many times. This is, I think the. This is our Cinderella dance. Here we first time I'm interviewing you. Although I did interview you for a job and I changed your life once upon a time.
[01:00:13] Speaker C: But we all remember.
[01:00:15] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, look, everybody's got to go get a copy of this book. This is a perfect book for the midterm elections.
It's a perfect book to think about where we are going in the 2028 presidential election.
The rise of the liberty Loving Latino, the New American Revolution. Look, I. Salcedo got a blurb from Sean Spicer, from Eric Bowling, and I think.
I couldn't.
[01:00:39] Speaker C: I didn't.
[01:00:39] Speaker A: I don't think I made the jack. I didn't make the jacket. Okay? But I got, I got. I'm on the inside flap here. He's on the inside underneath the. Right underneath of rushes. This must be the producer flap. Me and Rush's producer, James golden gave you one.
[01:00:53] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:00:54] Speaker A: Okay, so here's. Here was my blurb. Ladies and gentlemen, the author of this groundbreaking book and I have debated the future of American Hispanics for almost two decades. He was right and I was wrong. So that's going to be the last time we're ever going to hear that on Dangerous laughter. That's never going to happen. Okay? I am never wrong. Even when I am.
He was right and I was wrong, and I am never wrong. In his new book, Chris Salcedo brings both the ruckus and the education. You will learn that the GOP has a bright future with Latinos leading the way if they don't blow it. To quote Bobby Dairo from Copland. I mean, that's the reality here, you know? So look, we got to go out, we got to get this book, you know, go to Amazon. You can help pay for Jeff Bezos's space flights. Maybe on the next space flight, he'll send that wife and Katy Perry up there permanently.
Right.
Bring Shatner back, but leave your wife up there. You know, that was a really expensive wedding, honey. I'm thinking I got to put you back on the rocket. Heavenly bodies.
[01:02:00] Speaker C: That's true.
[01:02:01] Speaker A: That's right. Go to, Go to Amazon Books. A million Barnes and Noble anywhere books are sold. Mr. Salcedo, it has been an honor a long time coming. You know, thanks for coming on. You know, everybody's got to get this book, the Rise of the Liberty Loving Latino.
You know, it's out now and it is a guide for the midterm elections. Thanks for coming on, buddy. I really appreciate it.
[01:02:21] Speaker C: My pleasure. You know, folks, it is, you gotta get on. For everybody out there who is either talking about the issues of the day has wants to tell everybody about their book, you've got to come to this podcast. Dangerous laughter is where it's at. You know, you've reached the pinnacle when you've made it here.
[01:02:36] Speaker A: That's right. We are unfit for polite society. This is dangerous laughter. Never forget, laughter is democratic. Small D democratic, not big D like the Communists. I'm A.J. rice. This is dangerous laughter. We will catch you on the flip side.
