What REALLY Happened at Mar-a-Lago? | “They Had Nothing,” says Christina Bobb on Dangerous Laughter with A.J. Rice

Hosted by

A.J. RICE

Show Notes

What REALLY happened during the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago?

Christina Bobb was President Donald Trump’s representative on-site during the Mar-a-Lago raid—and now she joins A.J. Rice on Dangerous Laughter to reveal what she witnessed firsthand and what she says the public still doesn’t understand about the FBI, DOJ, Jack Smith and the continuing battle over political lawfare in America.

Bobb makes a stunning claim: “They had nothing.”

She walks A.J. through the timeline of the Mar-a-Lago raid, why she believes the case was originally intended to be handled in Washington, D.C., what happened when FBI and DOJ personnel arrived at President Trump’s Florida home, and why she believes investigators never expected the raid itself to become a massive public spectacle.

The conversation goes far beyond Mar-a-Lago.

Christina and A.J. dig into Jack Smith, Arctic Frost, FBI and DOJ weaponization, Merrick Garland, political prosecutions, media accountability, Trump’s legal battles, election integrity and the approaching midterm elections.

Christina also explains why she believes the lawfare campaign against Trump and his political allies has not ended—and why the tactics Americans watched unfold during the last several years could become critically important again as control of Congress is contested.

And because this is Dangerous Laughter, A.J. Rice brings perfectly timed derision to one of the most serious political stories of the Trump era.

[00:00:01] Speaker A: Dangerous Laughter. [00:00:04] Speaker B: Laughter. [00:00:06] Speaker A: Dangerous. Dangerous Laughter. Dangerous Laughter. Danger. [00:00:25] Speaker C: Laughter. [00:00:27] Speaker B: Sa. [00:01:07] Speaker A: Day 8. [00:01:09] Speaker D: The Emergency Destruct system is now activated. The option to override detonation procedure has now expired. The ship will automatically destruct in E minus one minute. And we are back with another episode of Dangerous Laughter. I am AJ Rice. We are here because comedy is our civic duty and we are not for polite company. And I gotta tell you, I've got one of my. One of my buddies on today. I love her, and she is just amazing. She's a fighter. She's got some great books out there. My next dangerous guest. She's beautiful. She's brilliant. She's defended Marines and sailors in court martial hearings. She was a. An anchor and a host on oann. And let's be honest, her. Her mugshot is hotter than mine. Hotter than all of yours. Senior attorney for Judicial Watch, author, author of the book Defiant Inside the Mar? A Lago Raid and the Left's Ongoing Law Fair. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the always captivating Christina Bob, everybody. [00:02:36] Speaker A: Hey, thank you so much for having me. I don't know if I can ever top that introduction. Thank you. [00:02:41] Speaker D: That's what we're here for. We're taking it back old school here. We're not. We don't just drone on and on for three hours here like some of those podcasts we get right to the point. You look amazing. You know, so do you. [00:02:52] Speaker A: I was nervous this morning. [00:02:54] Speaker D: I was like, your favorite colors. I mean, you look amazing. You're doing great. [00:02:58] Speaker A: Thank you. I picked out for you. I was like, AJ always looks amazing on his stuff. [00:03:01] Speaker B: I gotta. [00:03:02] Speaker A: I gotta match him. [00:03:03] Speaker D: Absolutely. I've got the book here. I've got both books here. And, you know, you are as defiant as always. You know, this book, I think it will be seared in our memory how we all kind of woke up to this Mar A Lago raid. I mean, you know, I. I try to imagine a world where Hyannis Port and the Kennedys get raided. I try to imagine a parallel universe where Mount Vernon gets raided by. George Washington gets raided. We've never seen anything like this. No, it's unprecedented. It will. It will ring down through the ages. Not just that it happened, but because as you illustrate, that it was bogus, that it was planned, that it was phony, that there was a conspiracy to unload this. So, I mean, you were actually physically present when this happened, right? [00:03:58] Speaker A: Yes, I was. I was President Trump's representative on site during the raid. He had already gone up to New Jersey for the Summer that happened in August. And I was working for the president at the time, and I got a call from his attorney on the case, actually lived in Washington, D.C. because I think it's important to point out people often forget this Mar A Lago case was supposed to be a Washington D.C. case. They never wanted to bring a case against Donald Trump in Florida. The grand jury was in D.C. all of the attorneys were in D.C. the investigative team was in D.C. everybody was in D.C. so you have to ask the question, why did it end up in Florida? It ended up in Florida because they had nothing. They did not have anything. They did not find anything after the raid, even going through everything that they did on the raid, they still did not have anything that they could bring in Washington, D.C. but now the raids happened, right? And so the whole world is looking at them going, why did you raid Mar A Lago? And they had to go, oh, shoot, we don't have anything. So they had to shift gears, bring a case in, in Florida, in the Southern District of Florida for obstruction of justice charges. This was not, this was not any national security case because they could have brought that in Washington, D.C. it was 39 counts of different types of obstruction of justice. It was a complete BS case from start to finish. It's BS now. And people, I don't think people realize how this was all supposed to take place in Washington, D.C. i, I certainly, I wasn't one of the attorneys on the case. I wasn't originally one of the attorneys dealing with, with, you know, the subpoena and all that. But I, I fell on me because I was the only one in Florida, so I happened to be there. But. Yeah. So this is never supposed to be a Florida case. [00:05:48] Speaker D: Well, look, I'm not an attorney, but I've had plenty of brilliant ones as clients like yourself, and I've worked with the Federalist Society. I was actually raised by, I was actually raised by a lawyer. So I can, I can loosely play one on a soap oper if I needed to. What the strategy, then there is. They were trying to venue shop, I guess, right? Change a venue or get him, get him in D.C. because they know that a Florida judge or a Florida grand jury, that they're not going to, they're not going to be able to get him in the, in the way because, you know, Florida's red. He's their favorite son, relocated. I mean, we've watched the great migration of conservative minds, legal minds, media, conservative people all migrate to Florida. I mean, I don't think a Democrat has Won statewide, I guess really since I guess Bill Nelson, who I think was dispatched by Rick Scott, I think maybe Mel Martinez, it might have been even further back. They haven't won the governor's race in a long time, although they did run, you know, the naked crackhead guy that ended up in the, on the floor of the hotel six. Oh, you know, he almost beat the Santis. But that, that's, that was a pre covered world and that was before Florida got reset. But that, that was the strategy. Right. And then. And that is also the tell. Which is what you're saying is that they didn't have anything. [00:07:14] Speaker A: They didn't have anything. That's exactly right. They, I don't think the thought ever occurred to them that there's no crime here in the Department of Justice is so used to manufacturing whatever type of criminal conspiracy they want to because they have basically unlimited resources and incredible power. And so they do this all the time with anybody, anybody that they're pursuing. You know, they'll manufacture a whole bunch of additional charges that, you know, might not be super solid to try to convince people to take a deal or to testify against their colleagues or, you know, whatever. They, they do this, they're used to creating pressure types of situations. And I don't think the thought occurred to them, what if there's nothing there? Because everything they were doing like they were convinced. And Chuck, Senator Grassley actually released a bunch of information on the Arctic Frost stuff where you can see the emails going back and forth where the, the Washington field office said there's no evidence here. There's not probable cause, not even probable cause. The, the standard for probable cause is very, very low. It's like, is it reasonable to believe that a crime could have been committed? Not that it was committed, but is, you know, could there maybe be a crime here? That's the standard for probable cause. And the Washington field office said there's not even probable cause for this. And the DOJ attorneys and the special counsel attorneys were saying, we don't care, we're going forward anyway. I mean, that's in the emails and that that's exactly what played out in the actual raid. And why it's relevant now is because we've got midterms coming up and they are trying to manufacture more crimes against the president, against his cabinet. They're doing the same thing. This operation has not slowed down. I mean, it slowed down because Trump got in office. But they haven't stopped trying. And I have no doubt they're going to try. If they're able to take the house and God forbid, the summit. [00:09:04] Speaker D: Well, give the audience the actual tick tock of the timeline of, of the Mar? A Lago. Like, like who had. Like, who absolutely knows that they're gonna do this. Who signs off on it? Yeah, like, how high does it go? Yeah, all the way down to. Was there anyone in the Florida. I mean, I guess when the FBI rolled in there, how many different departments were present? Was it just the FBI or was the Palm Beach Sheriff's Department with them too? [00:09:35] Speaker A: It was FBI and DOJ. So I, least I didn't see any local support, but, you know, they may have all. [00:09:43] Speaker D: So basically. So it's the just doj people are there. Right. Employees are there. Right. And so this is Merrick Garland then, right? [00:09:52] Speaker A: It was Merrick Garland and he actually [00:09:55] Speaker D: came out a great guitar player. He said, you know, yeah, he's a regular Paul McCartney, that Merrick Garland. I mean, thank. You know, I'm glad Mitch McConnell's gone, but at least he prevented Merrick Garland from becoming a Supreme Court justice. [00:10:07] Speaker A: Very true. Oh, my gosh. We would be in a world of hurt. Like, he's worse than Katanji Jackson Brown, because at least I don't know about that. [00:10:15] Speaker D: But. [00:10:15] Speaker A: Yeah, well, she's bad for different. I guess it's a different type of bad. [00:10:19] Speaker D: One plays guitar, one goes on Broadway and does Tony and Tina's wedding or whatever the hell she was in. No, go ahead. I'm sorry. [00:10:26] Speaker A: No, no, you're fine. But yes, it was just DOJ and FBI there. And Merrick Garland came out. I think it was three days later. And I've got that. The whole rundown in the book, if you want the text message, emails, timestamps is all in there. But from my memory, Merrick Garland came out, I want to say, three days later. I don't believe this is how stupid this is. I don't believe they thought the raid would become public. I think they thought they could do this in private, that the President would keep it secret. Secret. Because it looks really bad for him that he's being raided and they could just pick and choose what they want to do and then later say that they rated Mar? A Lago. [00:11:00] Speaker D: Are they out of their mind? I mean, didn't they, didn't they tip off the media like they did with Stone? Roger? [00:11:06] Speaker A: No, That's a big, like, I see that everywhere. And I'm like, that did not happen. CNN was not there. Yeah, no, no, nobody knew in your book. [00:11:13] Speaker D: But I was wondering, did they. Did they call it in so they could create the spectacle. [00:11:17] Speaker A: No, no, I don't think they wanted the spectacle. They didn't use lights or sirens. They, you know, you. Unmarked vehicles. You would have had no idea that Mar? A Lago was in the process of being raided by the FBI. And the agents, when I was talking to them were like, hey, you know. Because I was making a big deal about this. I was, you know, going crazy, yelling at them all, saying, what are you doing here? This is illegal. You need to be leaving. And I was kind of a pain in the ass, to be honest. And they were trying to, like, they were. They were like, you know, we're trying to be really calm and professional about this. I was like, what do you mean, calm and professional? You're raiding the home of a President of the United States. Like, you know, I was. I was making it a big deal. And of course, it was. The President and Susie Wiles, they were talking to each other to determine what information comes out and what doesn't. The raid actually started early in the morning. It started, I want to say, I got there like 9 or 10 in the morning, and it had been going on like, I wasn't the first one there. So it didn't come out until, I want to say, like, 7pm at night, because that's when the President put it out. DOJ and the FBI never announced it. It was Donald Trump through, I think it was a true social post or a email that went out that said, hey, Mar? A Lago is being raided. At the time that he put it out, the raid was over. And I think. I think they waited. You know, they. We wanted to get through the ordeal of the day, and then he let everybody know. But the way that DOJ reacted to him, disclosing it to me was incredibly telling because while I was there, I thought, they're trying to keep this a secret. Like, they're hiding what they're doing. And I wasn't sure. You know, it's a crazy day. I wasn't exactly sure if I was thinking clearly or whatnot. So I. I didn't, like, make any strong conclusions in the moment. But then in the 24:48, 72 hours that followed, Merrick Garland came out and held a press conference three days later. It took him three days to figure out what to say about this. They did not have a comm strategy. You do comms, you know better than anybody. You have every scenario ready to go before you launch, and then depending on how it plays out, you pick it and you Go and you run. Right. They didn't have anything. They had nothing. And then three days later he comes out, gives a two minute press conference and was like, I, you know, sheepishly take responsibility. This was my decision, blah, blah, blah, blah, I'm not taking questions. And he leaves. And that was it. And so I personally think they never intended the raid to become public. [00:13:39] Speaker D: Well, you know, it's funny. And this show's called Dangerous Laughter. I mean, I think that a lot of the people out there watching and, and like you said, you have to correct people all the time. People are under the impression, I think, that the media themselves wanted a choreographed, you know, raid with the meat with, with, with, with, you know, the Democrat or the DOJ wanted a choreographed raid with the media helping them. Like I said, Stone, you're saying no. And they tried to keep it a secret. You're watching them try to keep it a secret. But what they underestimated is that they unfortunately raided the home of the, at least the only president in a long time, maybe a hundred years, that is the master of what the ancient Greeks, when they put on dramas, used to call the spectacle. [00:14:29] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:14:29] Speaker D: So they were trying to avoid the spectacle, but they did it to the man who is the, you know, he's the impresario of the spectacle. He's the master of it. He, he has instincts like I've never seen. They go beyond political, they're cultural. So whether it's, you know, him sticking his fist in the air and butler or him basically saying, they just raided my home, you know, I mean, we're talking. You're saying that, you know, it took 10 hours later before he went on Truth Social. Now where did they. So they show up with the, with the search warrant. Who do they hand it to? Like, who's actually in charge that day [00:15:10] Speaker A: there's, that was me. I, I took the search warrant and I had met with them, I want to say, six weeks earlier in June. [00:15:18] Speaker D: What were they doing between 6am when they roll, 9am when you got there? They handed it to the pool guy. Like, who the hell did they give it to? [00:15:25] Speaker A: They, they didn't give it to anybody. I had to argue it out of them. They had Secret Service there. So they car. They coordinated with Secret Service to some extent. I don't know the level before or after, but at least on that day, Secret Service was kind of, you know, not ushering them around, but stuck with them. Right. To make sure that, oh, I see, [00:15:44] Speaker D: you know, the Secret Service was keeping an eye on the FBI. [00:15:46] Speaker A: Yeah. Exactly. [00:15:47] Speaker C: Holy. [00:15:48] Speaker D: Yeah. Okay. I mean, this is. I mean, I. I mean, this is just crazy. Now, how far into the. I mean, they wandered the premises, right? Like, where did they go? I mean, I make jokes all the time that, you know, they were going through freaking Melania's drawers. [00:16:02] Speaker A: They did. [00:16:03] Speaker D: They did really well. [00:16:05] Speaker A: And I get that from the President. I believe Melania said that they did go in the residence. So they went to three areas. They went to the residence. The office and the residents. The office and the. I'm blanking on them. There were three. [00:16:21] Speaker D: Storage unit or something. [00:16:22] Speaker A: The storage unit, yes. Thank you. That was the big one. Sorry, the storage unit. Yeah. Yeah. So those were. Those are the three places they went. Melania had come out later and said that they. They went through a door. I believe they did, based on the amount of time, but they wouldn't let me observe them, which I thought was very interesting. They made me stay out on the Circle Drive for anybody that's seen that aerial shot of Mar a Lago with the ballroom in the. In the Circle Drive. That's where, you know, they forced me to stay outside the whole time. But so they. [00:16:46] Speaker D: They wanted to. They wanted to bottle up the spectacle. But just like with everything else they do to this man. [00:16:51] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:16:52] Speaker D: And they have done it all. I've never seen maybe Churchill, but nobody shot at Churchill, although there was a few Nazi plots to get him. I. You know, I've never in my life seen the incoming of a man since the OG Came down the Golden Escalator, as I have seen with this man. And I'm a student of history. I'm a student of drama. I mean, this is so. I mean, this is really like Henry V type stuff. I mean, it's crazy. [00:17:20] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:17:20] Speaker D: What they have done to this man. We're going to take a break here. Come back. On the other side, I've got one of my good friends, Christina Bob, the beautiful Christina Bob, in her new book, Defiant. We're gonna get back into it on the other side. We will be right back. The Joe Patchy of conservatism. Write my books to fight back. I write my books to, you know, poke fun at these people. Because, look, there's plenty of people out there to talk as fast as me, you know, Ben Shapiro. I mean, there's all kinds of people, you know, Victor Davis Hansen's a genius, and this one's a genius. And all the rest of it, guys like Gutfeld, Steven Crowder, the Babylon Be. What I try to do in some ways, are more devastating and this is what made Charlie so effective, is that Charlie was able to take. He. It was almost like he was weaving tapestry in front of his brain. Moved very quickly. One of the fastest I've ever seen, you know, and I never shut up. And I will tell you, he was able to take like the new Testament and weave it with the Magna Carta, make jokes about what happened on the Bachelorette last night. I mean, he was. He was able to weave like that. And that scared the hell out of anyone that can weave like and Trump does. Anyone that can do that scares them. I'm not here to get into the. Go into all the rabbit holes there, but. But I will tell you, Charlie Kerr was a master at weaving politics and the culture together. Just like Rush and just like br. [00:18:41] Speaker E: You should be women. And yet your beards forbid me to interpret that you are. So. Someone once said comedy is the art of turning horror into humor. That's the essence of the curse of the bearded lady. Laughing in the face of madness before it devours us whole. Nothing in living memory has been funnier or more horrifying than a movement convinced there are 72 genders. Boys have a penis. Girls have a vagina. The curse of the bearded lady. The curse of the bearded Lady. The trans mafia has whipped America's sanity. It's Monty Python by way of mingalo. Absurd theater with real victims. I'm not here to conduct a medical examination of the trans mafia. This is a cultural autopsy. If Billy Shakespeare could write tragedies, histories and comedies, why can't I? The radicals refuse to surrender their gender mad stranglehold on America's vital institutions. This book will show how we got here, how we fight back, and how the Democratic party's obsession with mainstreaming the bearded lady will doom it to political extinction. Stay locked in with the man who slayed the woking dead. This is Dangerous Laughter with AJ Rice on the Publius Media Network. [00:20:22] Speaker D: And we are back on dangerous Laughter. You know, where, you know, there's. There's really a civic duty for humor, a civic duty for comedy out there. We try to bring that, you know, one of the definitions of comedy is the ability to transform horror into humor. We try to do that here because some of the stuff that our guest today, Christina Bob, who they threw in the. The clink for doing a freaking job. Sometimes, you know, it's gallows humor. Sometimes you have to laugh at this stuff. I mean, I know the left does not like to be mocked. That's what we do here. I mean, 100 years from now, when they look back at this snapshot of, of, of this decade here of, you know, Donald John Trump there, and I've told Don Jr. This, too, you know, I mean, people aren't going to believe that he withstanded all of this. They're not going to believe it. Christine. I mean, wouldn't you agree with that? I mean, it's, it's, like, remarkable. [00:21:21] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, I've been through a tiny fraction of what he's experienced. I'm still a criminal defendant today, as I hear. This mugshot is current. But you look so good, though. Great. I, I was actually really pleased with it when I thought I was like, oh, that. Okay. That turned out okay. You know, nobody wants to get a mug shot, but you got to prepare for yours. [00:21:40] Speaker D: When I had mine, it, it was over too much Pinot Noir, So I was just shocked. I mean, I look like I was. I look like I was stumbling out of a Philadelphia Eagles game, but go ahead. [00:21:49] Speaker A: No, I mean, if you're, if you're drunk, that's going to ruin your mug shot. But anyway, so, yeah, so I was pleased with it. And. But I think what's most remarkable about President Trump withstanding everything that he's withstanding is like, that he's still operating. No matter what they do, they can't take him down. And the more they try, the more people are rallying behind him. And, you know, I don't, I don't think they are going to be able to do much to stop this, stop this administration. They're filing lawsuits. They're, you know, protesting. They're doing all the things that they do. And he is still accomplishing a lot of what he's trying to do. Certainly they're throwing sand in the gears on some stuff and delaying it and slowing it down and all that. But I don't know, he. It's astonishing how much he's doing with the amount of opposition that he has. [00:22:37] Speaker D: Oh, absolutely. And let's get, let's give the audience a little flavor. Here's Chris. Cue up this, this montage. Here's a montage of some local reporting in the aftermath of this disaster that backfired. [00:22:50] Speaker A: Breaking news. The FBI has executed a search of former President Trump's Mar a Lago home [00:22:55] Speaker D: in Palm Beach, Florida. The investigation tied to materials Trump allegedly took from Washington, D.C. after his presidency concluded. [00:23:04] Speaker A: We begin tonight with breaking news. The FBI has conducted a search of former President Donald Trump's Mar A Lago estate on Palm beach over the handling of classified documents. We begin with Breaking news we're following. At former President Trump's home in Mar [00:23:19] Speaker D: A Lago, Florida, the FBI is carrying out a search warrant related to how he may have handled presidential documents, including classified documents that he might have brought home from the White House. Following breaking news in South Florida, where the FBI has searched former President Trump's Mar A Lago estate. Good evening and thank you for joining us tonight. I'm Russ Spencer. I'm Courtney Bryant. [00:23:40] Speaker A: Former President Trump issued a lengthy statement on the search just a few hours ago, saying agents had broken open a safe and that his home was, quote, under siege, raided and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. [00:23:54] Speaker D: Unbelievable. Really unbelievable. I'm sure Truman and I'm sure Lyndon Johnson, who did whatever the hell he felt like it. And I know Barack Obama took all kinds of crap home for his own memoir. And, you know, I'm sure those classified documents will be hanging on the, that spaceship that he's building in Chicago. Library wall. You know, in one of those videos, I swear, Christina, I can see you giving the helicopter the middle finger. [00:24:22] Speaker A: I think you have to film it real close. Yeah. [00:24:27] Speaker D: Wow. Wow. So, I mean, look that there's some flavor of what it was like. And, and so, I mean, when you, you're dealing with this. And obviously, you know, Christina wrote a book before Defiant which was about, you know, election integrity, called stealing your vote, which everyone should get because quite frankly, it is a time traveling manuscript. Because the idea that 2020 and 2024, I mean, they might just be the dress rehearsals. I mean, every time we hit them, they come back with something crazier. [00:25:01] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:25:01] Speaker D: God knows, God knows what they have in store for the midterms or in 2028 when the presidency's on the line. [00:25:08] Speaker A: Yeah, that's exactly right. And I, you know, I've always, I kind of made my career at least, you know, the president noticed me first because of my reporting and the work that I was doing on elections and election integrity. And I always thought election integrity was the most important thing because if you don't have free and fair elections, you don't pick your leaders. You know, your nation kind of falls apart. And now I see how closely election integrity goes hand in hand with lawfare and the abuse and weaponization of our justice system. Because if you don't have an attorney general or a district attorney or people in authority who are going to hold cheaters accountable, they keep cheating. Like, I know that's a novel concept, but it keeps going and keeps getting worse. We can sit here and scratch our Heads. You know, six years later. Quite honestly, it's been a lot longer than six years. But everyone's, everyone's noticed the election troubles over the last six years going, why isn't it getting better? Well, it's not getting better because you don't have anybody enforcing the law. [00:26:06] Speaker D: Well, let me ask you something because, you know, I, and I may not look it because I'm the baby faced assassin over here, but I have been around. I remember a world before Donald Trump. I have been in this game since really, I mean, since the Dole, the dole election in 96, but in D.C. really in the, the Bush versus Care or Bush versus John Kerry election of 04. So I remember another world and I, you know, there's, there's terms that the right uses, they come and go. You know, fake news was actually, fake news was, was actually invented by Hillary. Then we co opted it and tattooed it on her forehead. But you know, this term lawfare, this is something. And you know, maybe it's been, maybe you could find some, some, you know, opinion piece from the 1920s or Woodrow Wilson or, you know, maybe under Herbert Hoover or something. Or not a, under J. Hoover, not Herbert Hoover, where this was going on, but this term lawfare, which is in the subtitle of the book, you know, we, we, we all say it, we all think we know what it is. It was not in the lexicon until Trump showed up and flipped the freaking dining room table over. So tell the audience what actually is it? [00:27:30] Speaker A: Yeah, is it? [00:27:32] Speaker D: And, and it, it metastasizes when you think you cut out a little bit of the cancer, it moves over there into the darkness. [00:27:39] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:27:40] Speaker D: And like you just said, it's still alive and well right now. [00:27:44] Speaker A: Yeah, it is. So I would define lawfare as the use of the court system, the use of our justice system for a purpose other than the stated purpose of the case. So you want to bring criminal charges against Donald Trump. The purpose of the case is not actually to bring charges against the President. To not, it's not to enforce the law and ensure good order and discipline and blah, blah, blah, blah. The purpose of it is to defame him in order to cause him to lose the election. Bringing a case against me and Rudy Giuliani and Mark Meadows and those of us that were around the President post 2020, 2020 election. The purpose is not to actually somehow bring justice for conspiracy to commit forgery. The purpose is to scare people out of fighting for challenging the elections. So that, that's the way I would define it. As using the justice system, using our court system for something other than the stated purpose. [00:28:41] Speaker D: That's right. You know, our second president, famously, John Adams, who was an attorney, an attorney that defended the British soldiers after the Boston massacre, you know, and was always debating his cousin Sam Adams, who, you know, didn't, wasn't a lawyer, didn't give a crap. He just, you know, was ready to throw down UFC style. He famously said, you know, that we are a nation of laws and not of men. And yet inside of this term lawfare are men doing whatever the hell they want. Like when, When Comey says, well, you know, and he's joking, he said, like the 92nd Street Wire talking to one of these McGee's from MSNBC. And he says, you know, I went over to Flynn's office and I wanted to see what Flynn would tell me. You know, I went like catfishing Flynn. [00:29:27] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:29:28] Speaker D: You know. Right. Or what they do to Bannon, you know, well, we can't, we can't hit Bannon on federal charges for this thing or we'll, we'll do this. Or what they did to Manafort or Stone or you or, you know, I mean, I go down the. I mean, the list is just, it's, it's endless. But, and that, and that's not even to get into some of the stuff that. The intelligence side of this. [00:29:48] Speaker A: Yeah, right. [00:29:48] Speaker D: You know what, but you know what? Clapping. [00:29:51] Speaker A: Yeah. Hiding behind the FISA court and the secret. Yeah. [00:29:56] Speaker D: You know, everything that. When we're debating the Patriot act, you know, and Ron Paul was the only guy out there saying, hey, you know, someday this may be used for something else. And we're all like, no, no, no, we're just gonna find Bin Laden. [00:30:11] Speaker A: Well, right. [00:30:13] Speaker D: That came home the roost. Right. [00:30:15] Speaker A: Real fast. [00:30:16] Speaker D: I was guilty of it. I mean, I was guilty of it. I mean, Ingram and I used to make fun of Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich. Well, they turned out to be right. They. I mean, they're not right about everything, but, you know, I mean, Kit Sich might be right about the space aliens he saw, but, you know, according to what's happening now in the news. But, you know, I, I just find it amazing, this law. Fair term. [00:30:40] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:30:40] Speaker D: It really is my prerogative. Well, I took notes. Well, where are they? Well, I don't know. I wrote it on toilet paper and flushed it or what? You know, it's just whatever they need to do, whatever yarn they need to spin to get you, that's what they do. [00:30:55] Speaker A: And the political system goes faster than the legal system. And the news cycle certainly is faster than all of them. And so if they can capture the news cycle with the political system, despite the fact that they're working through the legal system, you know, it's going to roll right on. And now, like, now we're talking about what Obama did in 2016 with Brennan and Clapper and, and then in 2020 with the Russian disinformation, you know, the stuff that Tulsi Gabbard has released saying that there was actually an attempt to try to thwart Donald Trump as he came into office in 2016. We're, we're just now getting to that. [00:31:31] Speaker D: And so our friend Drew Allen has been writing about some of the shenanigans that were going on in the run up to the 2012 election as it relates to Benghazi and how, you know, I mean, that, that, that happened on September 11, 2012. And yet they were trying to tell us that a bunch of, you know, terrorists wearing dirty night shirts were all sitting around YouTube waiting for Susan Rice's video to play. I think not. I mean, that's, you know, when you, when you get dress rehearsals for authoritarianism, they. There's always the first couple whiffs of garbage, the first embers of the deep state, right? And look, you can go back in time and find all kinds of problems going back to, you know, Tin Pot Dome, I guess. But I mean, the reality is that, that this current regime that we're up against is still there. Barack Obama never left Washington, right? He's sitting there with Roseanne Barr's favorite tweet. And there, I don't know what they're doing. They're plotting whatever the hell they're plotting. But let me, let me ask you this, because I've written three books and I have gotten, I got a blurb from you for my, my most recent one, which comes out, you know, this summer. I've had some, I've had some decent former clients and friends do the forward to my book, but. Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States. How the hell do you get Donald J. Trump to write the forward to the book? I mean. Oh, my God. Amazing. How did that happen? How'd that come about? [00:33:11] Speaker A: Well, I'm so grateful that he did. And, you know, I was his attorney at the time. And so everything that I put in the book, largely, at least that related to him and Mar A Lago was technically privileged, so I needed his permission to publish it. So Susie was great. And I talked to the president. They gave me A meeting. We went, I went to the Oval Office and we went through everything that was in the book. And you know, it's all, it's all the true story of what actually happened, not the, the bogus, crazy CNN version of it. So he wanted, he wanted it out. He wanted people to know, like, how stupid it all was. And so he was very gracious enough to, to give me a forward. So, yeah, that, that's pretty cool. I like that part. [00:33:50] Speaker D: I mean, it's amazing. I mean, it's just amazing. I mean, I, you know, I mean, it's just like, wow. You know, I mean, it's like once in a lifetime deal. Now, chapter, Chapter one, you actually tell the story. Yeah, you, you go, you, you. The President will see you now. You walk past my client, buddy. I've known him a long time, Pete Hegseth. You go in and he, you're alone in the Oval Office with the Vice President and with the President. [00:34:19] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:19] Speaker D: And this is when you, you have copies of the manuscript and you're, you know, nervously like, you know, because Trump, you know, I mean, let's be honest, Trump is Trump. [00:34:28] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:29] Speaker D: And plenty of people try around him writing books all the time. Most of them we don't need. I mean, in the first term, it was just a parade of bozos, Amoroso and Scaramucci into this, then of vipers and the mustache Anonymous. Right. [00:34:45] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:46] Speaker D: I mean, just one wacko after another trying to capitalize on taking him, you know, out. So, you know, I can understand why he would be like, okay, what. What has she got in this thing? [00:34:58] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. And I mean, I had it all tabbed and I knew the questions he was going to ask just because I, I knew him, you know, and it was kind of funny, it was an interesting conversation for me because the second the raid happened and I had had that meeting six months or six weeks prior with DOJ and the FBI at Mar a Lago, I obviously became a witness. And so then the lawyers separated us all because, you know, nobody knows what I'm going to say or how my testimony is going to relate to what the President's going to say. And so right after the raid, my, my connection to the President took, Took a hit. I mean, I wasn't communicating with him. I was as much as I had been. It was multiple times a day prior to that. And then afterwards, it was kind of as needed for work. So we hadn't, we had. And we certainly didn't talk about anything because, you know, you can't. Because we're all involved in this case together now. So we had never talked about the raid except for while I was there, I was communicating with him, you know, telling him what's going on and all that. But afterwards I didn't have a meeting. Like there was, there was nothing. And so, you know, it was years later, he's, he's in the Oval Office, I'm still a criminal defendant. We've kind of both been through our own battles and it was just a really interesting conversation like oh wait, you didn't know that this happened or you know, our perspectives were different and it was, to me it was just a really kind of cool and special conversation years after the fact. [00:36:21] Speaker D: Yeah, I mean it's just, it's an amazing snapshot. And look, you know this, this period is going to be debated and, and studied a long time. And I tell, you know, because a lot of my clients are in the White House and I tell, I tell a lot of them, you know, everyone from you know, Monica Crowley to Tammy Bruce to Navarro, you know, Scott Besson and all, you know everyone in Pete and everyone in between Paula White. I tell them all, I said look, you are living history here. You are in the front row seat of history. I mean this book, this book is part of the historical record and at least you know, this isn't. We have non left wing eyewitnesses to what happened. So you know, when our AI masters are teaching us American history 100 years from now at the Kennedy School at Harvard, you know, maybe the final be in the, the mainframe hooked up to the low jack on the back of your head. I don't know. [00:37:30] Speaker A: Well, I hope so. I mean it kind of depends on what happens over the next few years because otherwise it will get memory hold and nobody will ever see it. [00:37:38] Speaker D: Well, you and I. Look, you and I aren't going anywhere. You know, maybe, maybe we'll end up in the same gulag together someday. [00:37:44] Speaker A: That'd be great. I would love that. [00:37:46] Speaker D: That's right. We'll be the best dressed there. So I'm gonna take a break here and, and come back, do a little bit more talk a little bit current events with Christina Bob, author of Defiant Inside the Mar A Lago Raid and the left's ongoing lawfare. Christina Bob. The great Christina Bob. We will be back right after this. [00:38:05] Speaker E: Women's rights champion Riley Gaines calls it a fierce defense of principle wrapped in humor from a satire who dismantles the Trans Mafia's propaganda number one. Amazon best selling author AJ Rice completes the trilogy that started with the Woking Dead and the White Privilege album. The Curse of the Bearded lady, how the trans mafia whacked American Sanity, Volume 3 of Publius Prose, already a bestseller. Get your copy today available everywhere. Books are sold. [00:38:52] Speaker A: And now please enjoy another elegant celebrity endorsement of dangerous laughter with A.J. rice. [00:39:00] Speaker C: Hey, how's it going? This is John Gruden, the old coach, just getting started here. It's an early morning in Las Vegas right now. The streets are quiet out there, but last night they were rocking. They were all talking about A.J. rice. A.J. rice is live. I love this guy, man. This is your moment right now. If you're gonna host your own podcast, you gotta be a nightmare for the opposing team. And I'm into nightmares. I mean, I want you to live rent free inside the enemy's head. Byob. Be your own blocker. Hustle, hustle, hustle. Rice, flip right double X jet 36, counter naked, Waglet seven X quarter. I mean, I want you to be a player, not a spectator. Rice. Let the competition come. Rice, bring it on. Be the franchise quarterback. Rice. You got a motor, kid. Everybody sees it right now. Hit the gas and run these guys over. And don't forget Spider2y banana execution. Congratulations. You've been diagnosed with dangerous laughter. Now get out there and win. Love you, man. [00:40:17] Speaker A: This endorsement has been brought to you by collapsing standards everywhere. And now back to Dangerous Laughter. [00:40:26] Speaker E: The management of this station are clueless. You're listening to Dangerous Laughter with AJ Rice on the Publius Media Network. [00:40:39] Speaker D: And we are back on Dangerous Laughter. I am AJ Rice. I've got my good friend Christina Bob here. Just remember, there's no substitute for perfectly timed derision. And we are deriding all the enemies of liberty here today. Christina's got this book out. Everybody's got to go get it. You know, you got to try to help pay for the Bezos wedding. You know, he. He took a hit. So go over to Amazon, get the book Defiant, right? And look, she wrote a book called stealing your vote. If you want the preview of how, you know they're going to build on some of their shenanigans from 2020, get both copies. I think they're. They're both doing great. I got them both, you know, hardback. So, I mean, there's a lot of. There's a lot of versions. You can get the Kindle version, and I think there's an audio version, too, that you read, right, isn't there? [00:41:25] Speaker A: I did. I did the audio for Defiant. [00:41:27] Speaker D: That's right. And if you Want to watch Christina read it? I think she's got some videos up on Instagram. You know, a gentleman out there. If you want to go watch her read her book, that's something for you. Let me just say this. Trump's been winning, really, since he got reelected. He's been getting these settlements, and I've got a list of some of these settlements, and then we're going to get into this weaponization thing here in a second. But correct me if I'm wrong, he got ABC to pay out $15 million, I think, and, you know, or should I say Disney to pay out 15 million because of the Stephanopoulos stuff with the woman that said, you know, the. The woman that no man wants to be anywhere near for the last 50 years, who claimed Trump did something to her in the dressing room, you know, when she was on LSD or whatever it was. I mean, just amazing. [00:42:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:42:19] Speaker D: And. And then 16 million from Paramount, CBS because of the edited Kamala tape. [00:42:26] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:42:31] Speaker D: Well, they're the two news ones. And then I've got some other ones here. I mean, you know, I think Zuckerberg ponied up 25 million. [00:42:39] Speaker A: Yeah, good. On the President for. For doing this. And I. I think it's more than he just wants money or he, you know, he. He just. [00:42:50] Speaker D: You don't need the money. [00:42:51] Speaker A: He doesn't need the money. This is about forcing the media to tell the truth. And of course, they're never going to tell the truth completely, but it forces them to at least not so blatantly lie, because defamation is all about lying. You have to be able to prove that what the person said is wrong. [00:43:06] Speaker D: And. [00:43:07] Speaker A: And he's able to do that in these cases. And so it at least puts the media on notice. If you continue to blatantly lie, he will come for you. [00:43:15] Speaker D: I mean, look, it's been tried. Sarah Palin, Tom Cruise, they've tried it. People have tried to sue the south park guys for making fun of them. Now, comedy is a little different, which is why I'm wrapped in humor here. But I will tell you, you know, money talks. So if you. Yeah, no one. No one's going to, like, George W. Bush would never spend his own resources to hunt down these phony baloney media organizations. They call him everything. They call him all the same. They call Trump, they call him every name of the book. You know, Bush lied, people died and this and that, and, you know, you know, this. I mean, it just went on and on. I was there for it. You know, history didn't begin. When Trump showed up, they did this to Nixon and Ford and Reagan and everybody. This is what they do. Last Republican they kind of left alone was Eisenhower. But if he was around today deporting all those people, deporting all those people and doing what he was doing, you know, they'd be trying to impeach Eisenhower. Oh, you know, he wasn't really the Supreme Allied Commander. He was, you know, Bradley. Bradley and Montgomery and Patton did all the work. So Trump did. He's getting these settlements from social media companies, from media companies, because. And some of them, they don't want to go through a discovery process. They're just like, all right, here you go. You know, because they don't want it on the record that they altered the commodity. [00:44:39] Speaker A: Yes, 100%. [00:44:41] Speaker D: I mean, remember, we just talk about George W. Bush. Remember, the. Dan Rather lost his job because of this big freaking story before the 04 election where they were going to prove that Bush, you know, you know, forged these National Guard records and all this other 60 minutes. Again, same as the Kamala edit. And Rather lost his scalp. He was never the same. You know, he was. Yeah, he's out there now. I think he's still alive, mumbling into his Cream of Wheat or whatever he's doing. So what do you think of this, though? It's. It's a good thing that Trump has the Kenyon to do this. [00:45:19] Speaker A: It's a very good thing. I mean, the media is. The media has largely skewed left. We're seeing this new rise of alternative media, like your show, which I think is fantastic. The. The alternative media is skewing towards whatever audience it's towards. Right. Like some far left podcast. Then you've got far right podcasts and everything in between and independent shows and all that. So I think the legacy media, mainstream media, largely skews left. And so he's kind of drawing a line in the sand saying, yeah, you can still be held accountable. And I, I do think the fact that people are seeing that legacy media isn't. Isn't what we all thought that it was. I think it's pushing people to alternative sources. [00:46:05] Speaker D: Well, you know, once upon a time, before 1996, you know, all we had was Rush and National Review and, you know, some local variations of what Limbaugh was doing. Yeah, you know, Neil Boards and Bob Grant, New York and, and others. And I, look, I come out of that milieu. I was Laura Ingram's executive producer on radio. I helped out Michael Savage. I was Monica Crowley's executive Producer. I was Tammy Bruce's executive producer about three weeks, which I still sort of bust her stones about, you know, and. But now you have an entire sort of atmosphere of all variations. I mean, you can kind of shop, you can vote with your wallet, vote with your time. [00:46:50] Speaker A: Yep. [00:46:51] Speaker D: You know, you've got the manosphere and you've got the, you know, some of these harridan women on the left that are just complaining about, you know, that Riley Gaines is cuter than them. You know, you got all you got. Yeah, right. Christina. Bob looks good in pink. And they don't. [00:47:09] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. Yeah, sorry, go ahead. [00:47:11] Speaker D: This brings. This brings us to this weaponization fund. Explain to the audience what this is. Why it again? And I know some of our friends on the Republican Party are a little upset about this. [00:47:27] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:47:28] Speaker D: You know, one of them from my home freaking district, I used to work for his brother who's no longer with us, Brian Fitzpatrick. I worked for Mike once upon a time. They're mad. 1.8 billion dollar fund created by the DOJ. And what's it for? And why are they mad? [00:47:45] Speaker A: They're mad because they're control fiends. And the president did this without telling them. I mean, that's it. They should not be mad. They should be very grateful that the President is doing this. As we were talking about the lawfare cycle taking forever, there are people from. Whether they're January 6th defendants or the alternate electors or, you know, just individual businesses. The farmers we're seeing now are largely targeted and lawful, you know, kind of running them out of business. And so President Trump set this up to say, hey, if the federal government has harmed you in some way and used, you know, the Department of Justice or used lawfare against you, you can submit a claim. And they have not released how to do that yet, but this is where it's going. After all the lawsuits are done, you can submit a claim. We'll adjudicate your claim. And if you fit the criteria for, you know, being victims of weaponization or targets of the federal government, we'll. We'll pay you what you're owed. So I think it's a great thing. This is not new. The Obama administration did this with victims of racism in the Keepsakel. And the Keepsakel case was the one that the Trump Department of Justice used as the example to set this up. [00:48:59] Speaker D: Amazing. That's amazing. [00:49:00] Speaker A: This is done by Obama. There's nothing. People are just mad. They're just mad because they hate Trump, they hate his supporters. They. They quite Honestly hate their constituents, because I'd be willing to bet most constituents side with the president on issues probably 9 out of 10 times. And they're just mad that they didn't get to say what to do with this money. So more outrage. [00:49:24] Speaker D: More outrage from some of these linguine spine Republicans. [00:49:27] Speaker A: Yes. [00:49:28] Speaker D: Over this weaponization fund. Then we saw when we found out that the Southern Poverty Law center was the very fine people who I wrote about. You know, I wrote this book, bringing racial harmony to very fine people on both sides. I wrote that as a joke that the left. Because the left kept repeating it. Schumer's saying it, this one's saying. And that one's saying it. Repeating it during the 2024 election. Kamala. They all brought it up. I had no idea that my jokes, which go back nine years, were gonna. That I was gonna find out that all along all these people I've been making fun of were being paid. The Republican Party more outraged about this weaponization fund. At least some of these guys. [00:50:15] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:50:16] Speaker D: Then the s. You know, the SLP seen garbage. [00:50:19] Speaker A: Yeah. They refused to fund the Department of Justice just this week. They were like, oh, we're so outraged. We're not going to pay ice. I mean, we're not going to fund the Department of Homeland Security. They had a bill ready to go that they had agreed on that they pulled because they had their panties in a wad about this weaponization fund. That doesn't affect them. And then when. When Grassley submitted, you know, he. He revealed all of the Arctic Frost investigations and the toll. The phone toll records of the eight Republican senators or congressmen or whatever that were part of the Arctic Frost investigation. They passed this. The CR Allowed provision for only the senators, only the members who were targeted to get $500,000 if they were damaged by, you know, being told. By having their civil rights violated by the Jack Smith investigation. Excuse me, Mr. Or Mrs. Senator. There were 400 people listed in Arctic Frost who had their phone records seized or who lost civil liberties because they were being political, politically targeted by Jack Smith. And you only allowed Republicans to recover. I'm sorry, Republican senators to recover. I mean, they. They should be humiliated. And they are so arrogant, they're not even ashamed of themselves. [00:51:43] Speaker D: And look, you know, this wasn't just Merrick, Garland and Biden. You know, you mentioned Obama. You mentioned Obama a minute ago. I mean, I lived through with Andrew Breitbart and others. The Lois Lerner weaponization against. Against the Tea Party. [00:51:58] Speaker A: Yes. [00:51:59] Speaker D: Right. [00:51:59] Speaker A: And you know who the prosecutor was on that, right? [00:52:02] Speaker D: Go ahead. Say that again. [00:52:04] Speaker A: You know who the prosecutor was on that whole? Lois Learner, The Tea Party, The DOJ prosecutor that they were using to target those folks. [00:52:11] Speaker D: Oh, who was it? [00:52:12] Speaker A: It was Jack Smith. [00:52:14] Speaker D: Okay. Yeah, look, it's all these same people. People, you know, they all look, you know, I'm friends with some, some patriotic FBI guys. I think the. Until Cash came along, one of the only field agents, you know, Louis, Louis Free was the only field agent to ever have this job. They're mostly lawyers. So whether it's Andy McCabe or the people that went after Fitzgerald, that went after Scooter Libby, these are all a bunch of doughy white dorks, power hungry freaks all coming out of some machine. Yeah, you. Look, people don't join the FBI to go to Washington to sit in a cubicle. These people do because they, they, they're there for the dance, the deep state ball, the deep state dance. [00:53:01] Speaker A: They love it. They. And that, that is the most concerning part is once they get into position, whether it's a political position and it happens on the Republican side too. I hate to say it, but we can see it and we can, you know, we can debate about it even in the Trump administration. But they, they get into these positions of power. Power. Use power loosely. Some are more powerful than others and they genuinely feel like the, the federal government is their business, like a business that they create and they own. And it's like you're not the owner of a franchise. [00:53:32] Speaker D: That's right. Yeah. I mean, look, and that's why I said, you know, when Trump came in and he, all these superstars that, you know, that you, you, you can't just, you know, obviously the fish rots from the head, but you can't just take the tops off of these departments. The middle management is the 100. You have to drop a freaking moab on each department, otherwise you're just gonna have these creatures crawling out of the walls like gremlins until the cows come home. Hey, Chris, grab. Chris, grab. Grab the Vance. Put that Vance graphic up. I love this. So everyone's upset about who can apply for money advance. Said, look, Republic's gonna apply. Republicans can apply for it, Democrats can apply for it. And then he said, look, if Hunter Biden wants to apply for this particular fund, he is welcome to. That's what I'm talking about. You know, if, if you're, if you're a leftist that, you know, feels that you were wrong, feel free to apply. I mean, who knows? I mean, anytime. Free money's gonna be. Who knows? It'll come out. Maybe the. I, I'm reminded of my old friend Jay Christian Adams, who was the whistleblower when the Black Panther Party was blocking a polling place. I believe in the 08 election, I think it was the McCain election in Philadelphia. The Black Panthers are standing out, stopping people from, from going in. And Jay Christian Adams, you know, blew the whistle on that. I mean, look, you know, if the Black Panthers feel wronged, I'm sure they can try to apply. But I mean, it's, it is, it's silly season. You know, Vance is always fun. And speaking of Hunter Biden, I've gotta, I've gotta ask you about this Candace Owens who had so much equity build up so many allies, so much equity build up for years of, you know, making allies and moving up to the media. Somebody that, unlike me, who came through the process in the trenches, worked for free, worked on Capitol Hill for peanuts, you know, and when you, when you sort of matriculate that way, there is a wisdom that comes from it. You know, I have been in the swamp for a while, so I guess some people could say that I'm some kind of swamp creature. Although there is no one in the MAGA or Maha movement, including my guest today, that we really haven't worked with. When there were 19 people running for president in 2015, I was that we were one of the only firms here in town in D.C. that threw in with the reality TV star. Everyone else was going for Jeb Bush or the tweaker, John Kasich or Ted Cruz or Rand or whoever we threw in from the beginning. Everyone knows that. Don Jr knows it. Sergio Gore knows it. We were there from the freaking beginning. So with that said, you know, there are some people, some of them are, you know, friends of ours or former clients or whatever that seem to be applying a purity test to Trump that they're not willing to apply to guests. They have to regimes that have been killing Americans for 46 years. The audience knows who I'm talking about. I don't need to name names and go down the whole, the whole list, but I gotta ask you, Candace Owens recently decided to interview Hunter Biden. I don't know whether, you know, he's her new crack dealer or what, but they decided to do this interview and it was a spectacle. And, you know, I, I mean, I'd probably interview Hunter if he would come on here. The question is who was interviewing who and who took who for a ride? Let's get a little sample. [00:57:34] Speaker B: Somebody literally sent this to me right before I came into you, they knew that I was going to talk to you. And I promise you, I did not plan to do this. [00:57:40] Speaker D: No, you're so fine. [00:57:41] Speaker B: It was a prayer. If you are wise and understand God's ways, prove it by living an honorable, honorable life. Do good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don't cover up the truth with boasting and lying. For jealousy and selfishness are not God's kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. Wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind. [00:58:15] Speaker D: Wow. [00:58:15] Speaker A: I. I've got to ask you, the. The music on that video, was that from Candace Owens or was that added by somebody else? [00:58:22] Speaker D: That was added. That Simon and Garfunkel number was added by the person who created that reel. [00:58:26] Speaker B: Okay. [00:58:27] Speaker D: And, you know, we got a big shout out there. There's so much going on in just that snippet, I don't even know where to begin. I mean, one, is he trolling her to some degree? Because the prayer he chose seems to be talking about someone that. Full disclosure, Charlie Kirk was our client at Publius pr, which is my day job, you know, could be about Candace. He said this was the per. I thought of you when I brought this in here, Candace. And you know, white Crackhead privilege, which I've got a whole. Both. Both these books behind me. I've got chapters on Hunter. One is, you know, crackhead privilege, the first one of the Walking Dead, and then Crackhead privilege redo revisited. White crackhead privilege. It's an amazing thing where we are with our media and look, I'm always saying, look, more voices, the better, I guess. But as someone who was discovered really by Charlie Kirk and, And. And Kanye west retweeting her. This was, you know, Candace was an Obama girl who, you know, got to reinvent herself. Now maybe that's. Maybe that's her thing. She's doing it again now. [00:59:41] Speaker A: Well, I mean, you came up in the traditional media sphere, so you understand all of the roadblocks and all of the obstacles and all of the kind of checks in place to make sure that whatever makes it onto air is actually arable and appropriate. And I'm not saying these interviews aren't, but I think we are seeing kind of the shortcomings of the alternative media. Right. You don't have a hundred million dollar company, but. Or, you know, 100 billion dollar company behind you that wants to make sure everything is clean and crisp, which has advantages and disadvantages to it. But. And, you know, Sean Ryan had Hunter Biden on his own. I, I'm a big fan of Sean Ryan. I really like him a lot. And I, I was disappointed to see that he had Hunter on his show. Not because I don't think Hunter doesn't deserve a platform, but the questions that need to be asked, and maybe they asked them. I've not seen the whole interview whether it was Sean Ryan or Candace Owens. But, you know, right before the 2020 election, the Senate, his gat committee came out and said that there was evidence that Hunter Biden was involved in human trafficking and that there's evidence. I mean, you wrote about it on your book, but there's evidence that he was taking bribe money from Burisma and from the wife of the Russian, you know, czar oligarch. There's all of this information that he's basically taking bribe money for political influence. And it was happening throughout Joe Biden as vice president and then again as president. And, you know, where did the money go? Why are you broke? And why did you get the money in the first place? And the laptop. She did ask him about the laptop. I saw at least those clips. It proved more than he was just a crack addict, according to Rudy Giuliani. Giuliani has come out and said there was child porn on or what. What could equate to child porn, you know, on the laptop. He explained it to me and that that's in the book. But, you know, he's saying it wasn't, like, hard. [01:01:36] Speaker D: And as a media person, observer, somebody that, you know, does some crisis communication. I mean, I run a PR firm. I have been the publicist for not just you, but many people, high profile. You know, I help Trump on his big coffee table books, Don Junior's books and all the rest of it. Right. I've even. I work with George P. Bush once upon a time. [01:01:58] Speaker A: You're the guy everybody knows in conservative politics. A.J. rice is the guy. [01:02:03] Speaker D: You need to let me just say this. Are these characters that are now, you know, sort of moving away from, you know, Trump into, I guess they're inventing something new. I guess as somebody that observes this. And are they. Are they tougher on Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz, or are they tougher on Hunter Biden? And, you know, we're told. I'm just asking questions. I mean, we're told that. We're told. I'm just asking questions. I guess you know, I guess there's a different calibration that happens. And look, that's true. You know, I don't, I don't treat everyone that comes on here as nicely as I treat Christina. Bob. But, but the reality. But this is a different type of show. But when I see that, you know, this is why people have so much to say about Candace and Tucker and Megan and others, because they don't see the same standards being applied. [01:02:58] Speaker A: Yeah, I think that's right. And I think again, I go back to the example of the difference between a big, huge, you know, billion dollar, multi billion dollar media company versus a small podcast. You, anybody, any interviewer. I've done it. You've done it. Any interview has their own biases and what they want to get out of the interview. And when you don't have that big team around you, which I, I'm grateful. I think I like the more organic news. But when you don't have a billion dollars behind you to kind of formulate what you're doing, your own biases comes out a lot. It comes. You can see it a lot more, which I think is good because it's more transparent. But now we're seeing it and people are getting upset, you know, and, you know, you're right. [01:03:40] Speaker D: And I've told people this on other shows and people interview me. We're in a. A place right now where our number one media figure is the President, United States. So we. There's a vacuum out there. Russia's dead. Charlie's dead, Andrew Breitbart's dead. There is no quality control. So we have a bunch of free radicals. And sometimes that's a good environment. When you're talking about entrepreneurship and capitalism, the market will kind of decide. And, you know, if you're talking about how Sharia law is wonderful, or, you know, here my guest is Hunter Biden today and the Iranian regime, you know, or just, yeah, a bunch of Persian doctors and all the rest of it. You know, the audience can kind of decide that, and people will. Will go where they want to go. And some of. There's some beauty to that. But we are as somebody that's been inside of talk radio, and it's funny, you're describing my world that I came through. I mean, look, there were emergency White House meetings called by Carl Rove. Trent Lott was there. Dennis Hastert was there. I don't know whether Bill, Bill Frisk might have been around there. Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, they're all there. And they're saying, Trent Lott, the famous quote, we got to do something about Lindsey Graham, too. Back then, before Lindsay went through one of his, you know, transformations, you know, they. They were saying, we got to do something about talk radio. We have to figure out how to shot Laura and Glenn and Levin and Savage and Rush and Hannity up. We have to shut them up. You know, and there was. We were called to the white. I was there. Laura, Carl Rose sticking his bony finger in Ingram's chest. You need to stop talking about immigration. This. This happened. Lars talked about it. So there's nothing new. I guess the question, though, I. I have that I always go back to is, is what Candace Owens is doing on the air right now, is that conservatism or is it something else? It's okay if it's something else. You know, she was an Obama girl. [01:05:52] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:05:52] Speaker D: And then she's working for Shapiro and others. And. And, you know, Charlie in there now, she's this thing. [01:05:57] Speaker A: Yeah, okay. [01:05:59] Speaker D: Okay. So people question her principles. Fine. She became a Catholic. Fine. Maybe her and Hunter are gonna go to mass together because the Bidens are Catholic. I don't know. I'm Catholic, you know, But. But look, I. I wanted to ask you about that. We're running out of time here, but let's just. Let's just close it out with. With this great book. I mean, look, are you working on a third book now? [01:06:20] Speaker B: If. [01:06:20] Speaker A: If I may, I absolutely want to write a third book. I have not started yet. Still kind of figuring that out. So we'll see how. We'll see how. [01:06:29] Speaker D: Well, this one. I mean, look, guys, you got to go get a copy of this. Defiant Inside the Mar A Lago raid and the left's ongoing lawfare blurbs. You know, Trump wrote the forward. My client Carrie Lake got a blurb from Rudy. I hope Rudy, and we're saying a prayer for Rudy. You know, as of this taping, Rudy seems to be fairly okay. But just, you know, to take us out, what should the American people be looking for on the lawfare front as we approach these midterm elections and then the presidential election? Where should. Where. You know, because we're. We're all. We all. We're all poll watchers now. [01:07:07] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:07:08] Speaker D: So what should we be looking for? What advice can you give them? [01:07:11] Speaker A: Well, on the law firm front, I would just say be skeptical of everything. Be skeptical of everything you're seeing on either side of, you know, whether they're trying to indict somebody or whether they're, you know, even if the Trump administration is like, just be skeptical of everything. Keep an open mind, but, but test everything because both sides are playing games. And I'm not accusing the Trump administration of anything, but I do think Republicans cheat in elections, too. So just be skeptical, all right? [01:07:41] Speaker D: And I know some of our friends, they're, they've got an eye on this. What, what was this? Thomas Massey prime primary. Yeah, we're not going to debate that here today. But, you know, Massey's another one that is going off, you know, did the beat of his own drum. And I'm sure he'll be doing a show soon with Tucker or somebody. Look, everybody's got to go out, get a copy of Defiant. You know, Christina Bob, she's bold, she's beautiful. She's a legal mind that you, you must fear. She's, you know, she's, she's doing great work and she's over at Judicial Watch now. But, you know, we see you in the media. You've defended Marines, you've defended the president, United States. Everyone's got to go out and get a copy of this book. And you're a good friend of mine. I appreciate you giving me a blurb for a book that I will probably need lawyers and witness protection for when it comes out. But ladies and gentlemen, Christina, Bob, I mean, any last words here before we walk the plank together? [01:08:43] Speaker A: No. Thank you so much for having me. I absolutely love you, love your show, and I'm thrilled to be here. [01:08:48] Speaker D: This was dangerous laughter this was a dangerous guest of the day, the lady in Pink. We will catch you on the flip side, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for tuning in. [01:08:58] Speaker A: Dangerous left laughter Dangerous danger left dangerous laughter. Danger. [01:09:22] Speaker C: Laughter.
