[00:00:10] Speaker A: Left her.
Dangerous lefter.
[00:00:20] Speaker B: Danger.
[00:00:25] Speaker A: Left turn.
[00:00:27] Speaker B: Sam.
[00:01:07] Speaker A: Day 8.
[00:01:09] Speaker C: The Emergency Destruct system is now activated.
[00:01:14] Speaker B: The option to override detonation procedure has now expired.
The ship will automatically destruct in E minus one minute.
We are here today, like cracking champagne on the side of a battleship, although not the battleships of the Iranian navy that are at the bottom of the the ocean, to bring in an employee. He doesn't know that this is a, this is a, you know, an examination of his competence today. It's sort of a progress report of him.
My good friend Drew Thomas Allen, who is the host of the Drew Thomas Allen show, he's got a great book out, Clinton Hoax, Obama Couple, the Declassified Story of the Trump Russia Delusion. And, and he's vice president of Publius pr, the west coast vice president, which means he, you know, he wakes up at noon and, you know, he, he wanders the hillsides of the vineyards of. Of our hearts.
He is also a columnist for the Daily Signal, which is the publication of the Heritage Foundation. Drew, great to be here, brother. How are you?
[00:02:42] Speaker C: Oh, man, I've been looking forward to this.
[00:02:45] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
You excited? You buckled up?
[00:02:49] Speaker C: I mean, you know, I'm buckled up as best as I can be for you. You know, you only do so much.
[00:02:54] Speaker B: Look, this is dangerous. LAUGHTER so we're gonna have a little bit of fun and I wanted to start with, you know, you've been making the rounds out there for this book. This is your third book.
This is an important book in a way. It's kind of a book that we have to time travel a little bit for and, you know, re. Educate the audience.
And, you know, recently I saw that you were on with our friend Steve Bannon promoting the book. I think a lot of the audience probably saw that and, and you were explaining a little bit about the book to him, and I want to throw to a cut of that and then just have you react and, you know, have you react on the other side.
[00:03:35] Speaker C: Behind every single Clinton scandal, Obama is so much worse and he tends to usurp what was Clinton's, whether it was related to Benghazi or later Trump Russia collusion. So, you know, look, it was a campaign dirty trick. It was a little bit worse than that during an election season in 2016. And the intention, obviously, was to save Hillary Clinton's candidacy because she came in running for office, you know, her childhood dream of being the first female president. She's power hungry and she's bogged down in scandals because of her own impropriety, whether it's the investigation into her email situation, sending classified emails on an illegal private server, or thanks to Peter Schweitzer's book Clinton Cash, the FBI was starting to look into pay for play while she was secretary of State. Well, this is going to blow up her campaign. So she needs something that is really extravagant to distract from that scandal. So it's the Trump Russia collusion hoax and obviously Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI investigation spying on Trump, you know, that started in the summer of 2016, but Donald Trump ultimately won that election in November. Well, in December, after Trump's already elected, then Barack Obama's the one who gives the order to create the intelligence community assessment, the ica. And he also gives the order, effectively not to include all the intelligence agencies, but to cherry pick and just use three in order to then sell the American people, give it the rubber stamp of approval from the administration, the official government seal that, yes, Trump indeed did collude with Russia that Putin did want Trump to win. And so he goes into his first term bogged down in this, what's now a coup.
[00:05:14] Speaker B: That's right. That's right. You know what I found, and I like the fact you do this in the book, is that the what there was some shenanigans going on in 2012.
Now, most of us think to ourselves, oh, 2012, you know, Mitt Romney in his magical underwear. He was a linguini spine candidate. He couldn't land a punch. All the rest of it. You know, God bless Mitt Romney. He's a very nice man.
You know, he did better fighting Evander Holyfield than he did Barack Obama. Right. So, and I, look, I was going through the book and I'm, and look, you have to understand, and ladies and gentlemen, I used to produce shows. Now I'm here, your, you know, humble servant hosting dangerous laughter. I was, I believe, at the time producing a show for John Solomon at the Washington Times. And we were dug in on this. We had everybody, we had Sarah Carter and this one and that. And you know, everyone who's doing Benghazi and digging in on.
And you know, what people forget is that, and I'll, I'm going to let you respond to the Bannon thing here in a second.
People forget that this actually, because of when it dropped, could have been the silver bullet to elect our first Mormon president.
If he was a little bit stronger, if he could harness it, the way Limbaugh was doing at the time, the way Sean was doing at the time, the way Savage and Ingram and and, you know, many people were doing at the time and the way you have done in this book. Right.
It's really a missed opportunity. And we're going to get into the media, you know, when we come back. But just with, with that framework in mind, the idea that 2012's election and 2016's election was a coordinated, there were coordinations happening. 16 is the coup de grace. 16 is they go all out, right, against Trump for Hillary, with Obama as a sitting president. And maybe he shouldn't have been.
Maybe he shouldn't have been. You know, the goal here, and I've had many, I hear many people tell me this, the goal was to basically, you know, have a, at least a straight 16 years of Obama and Hillary. Right? That was the goal. Absolutely right. So, you know, obviously we could, you know, maybe you'll write another book about the 2020 election. Although you and I, we interviewed and many people on that, you know, we're still unpacking that, you know, and I think the truth will eventually come out there. So, so just, you know, with that batting clip in mind, you know, explain to the audience what are we getting new out of this? Where did this newly declassified stuff come from? I think it came from our client, possibly our former client, who's now, you know, at dni and, and, and explain to the audience in that framework of 2012, 2016 and eventually 2020, I mean, if you really look at these four things, these three elections, there is scandal and conspiracy happening in all of them. There's coordination happening in all of them. And I'll let you unpack.
[00:08:28] Speaker C: Well, yeah, look, these things don't happen in a vacuum. So there's an origin point for all this. And you didn't really start with 2016. I mean, for one, if you didn't have Benghazi. Right. People have to Remember back in 2012, it was a close election. By the way, an aggregate of all those polls show that Romney and Obama were neck and neck. So it was not a proven a sure thing that Obama was going to win that election.
And he's out there running around talking about how he killed Osama bin Laden. He's talking about how he's got Al Qaeda on the run. Right. Our first Muslim president who loves Muslims and jihadists more than anybody else in the country. He's celebrating how it's the end of jihadists. And yet Benghazi shows that, that he's a liar and he's a fraud. In fact, terrorism's gotten worse, not just in this country, but around the world. So you've got Benghazi, that takes place in Libya. And that's a direct result of his failed foreign policy, taking out Gaddafi and creating this vacuum with which a bunch of Al Qaeda affiliate groups were able to fill it. And then you have the murder on September 11, 2012, of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens and several other Americans. And so, I mean, this is like less than two months away from his reelection.
So his key point that he's out there making is like, I'm the anti terrorist President. We just had our ambassador killed by terrorists. And so what you have in that moment is his desperate attempt to protect his reelection chances. And what he does, though, is unprecedented in many ways in modern American history, because his White House goes to the CIA and facilitates this communication with the CIA to lie, to produce an intel document that scrubs it of the reality of what happened, that this, that in. In Gaza who had a premeditated terrorist attack.
And he has them scrub the talking points. And I say he, because the revelation that came out years later after investigations was that this was not an order from the Secretary of State, this was an order from his team around him in the White House. And it was about him and his reelection, not protecting Hillary Clinton at this point. So they scrubbed this document, the talking points, 12 times. And then they go out there and send Susan Rice on five Sunday shows to tell people this was a spontaneous protest that, that killed Christopher Stevens. That was the result of a video that nobody saw that was anti Islam, anti Mohammed. And so he corrupted the CIA and the intelligence community to protect his own reelection chances. And that is the first takeaway, because if you Fast forward to 2016, you have the weaponization of an entire intelligence community, not just the CIA, with the explicit goal of doing what? Protecting Democrats, again, protecting Obama, and certainly getting Hillary Clinton, you know, elected. And that's what people have to understand about the origins of this. And by the way, also, AJ if you hadn't had the Benghazi scandal, you wouldn't have had the investigations that revealed that Hillary Clinton was using an illegal private email server. You wouldn't have had Peter Schweitzer's book that exposed that she was involved in payola while she was Secretary of State. And this is the cloud that surrounded her going into the 2016 election. And, and so those things necessitated some kind of insane response that became Trump Russia collusion.
[00:11:36] Speaker B: Right. And what I, what I see here, and really, I got to be honest with you, it, to some degrees, it goes back to the Bush v. Gore recount but if you, if you look at 12, 16, 2024, and you know, some of the audience might be wondering why, why are you guys going into, you know, the time machine here and discussing some domino that fell years ago.
And the reality is that what it appears to be, and we're not going to unpack 2020 today, but it, this is a, the deep state is learning, it's a learning model, it's evolving, it's getting more sophisticated each time.
Now someone could come along and go, well, you know, Trump won in 2024. You know, obviously they didn't get us that time. You know, which is why we were saying in 2024, this thing needs to be too big to fail. Trump's victory needed to be too big to fail.
Right.
And I think it was, I think it was, you know, he, he, he made the Republican Party more working class, more multi ethnic.
But it doesn't mean that the people that pulled the Clinton hoax, Obama coup, right, the people that pulled this are still in the wind. They are still out there.
And media figures that assisted are still out there.
People that purport to be entertainers, we're going to get into that later. Are still out there.
And we, and some of their younger replacements are now in our face.
You know, David Letterman's been replaced by Colbert, who's going to be gone soon. Who, God knows what'll happen after that. But we've got Kimmel and you know, different people, Seth Meers. And so you, we've had one hack after another where politicians run to for cover.
Amala puts a book out, where does she go?
You know, so I mean, that's what we're up against. It's not just the deep state and the political hacks, Democrat politicians.
This is a web of everything. And you, you lay it out in here. It's a web that goes from entertainment to the intelligence services, which is crazy. It's absolutely crazy. You know, I think back on the spontaneous protest that happened. I think about when I first started producing shows.
I mean, YouTube was not even owned by Google yet. And you know, we were running VCR tapes on televisions and all kinds of things. And obviously it's evolved. That's why you and I are here right now.
You know, we're both in our underwear and we're on two different posts. And you know, I think about the idea that some Bedouin Arab scumbag group of dirty night shirt wearing filth were somehow in 2012 able with really good WI fi, really, really good. You know, it wasn't it wasn't like 4G or 5G, was probably negative 4G.
The idea that they're all sitting around and you, you write about this a little bit, they're all sitting around, you know, eating some goat, having a little halal, halal action, right? And you know, this, they get, they get an email, they get an alert on their phone, whatever the hell model, you know, iPhone, model 3 or 4 in 2012, I guess, and somehow they, they say, all right, you know, they logged on to AOL, they got on their Commodore 64 computer, they got on air, they had to dial up the freaking sound, you know, the old dial up sound. They sent out a mass email through Microsoft Outlook.
Meet at the, at the annex. Meet, meet at the embassy, the big Nazi embassy. Right?
That. This is the White House's argument.
This is their argument. You couldn't make this up.
At the same time, there's one little factoid that proves it can't be their argument. And that was they did this on September 11, 2012. They did it on September 11, 2012. So what makes more sense to you that radical Sunni jihadists would attack an American installation on September 11, 2012? I don't know about that.
We're not sure who did attack the Twin towers in, in 2001. It was Dick Cheney. The point is, the argument is it's the YouTube video, spontaneous protest from my cousin Susan, the propagandist. No relation really.
You know, I'll take Condi, but not Susan. Point is, that was their argument to save the presidency, to save the republic on its faith. It's insane.
Am I right?
[00:16:58] Speaker C: Yeah. I mean, you're kind of hitting the nail on the head when it comes to most of the narratives built by the left because there's always a problem with the premise.
So the premise of that was insane anyway. I mean, you know, there was a spontaneous protest in response to the, you know, anti Islam video, but it took place in Egypt and it looked like a spontaneous protest. Right? It didn't look like Benghazi. And of course, Cairo is, you know, more than 1200 kilometers away from, you know, Benghazi. The idea that the same thing is being played on the news airwaves in Benghazi, you know, in Cairo is so absurd. But the same thing was true of Trump. Russia collusion, which was the simple question, like, okay, who are the Russians better off with this President Hillary Clinton, who sold them our uranium and whose husband was paid fat sums, you know, to get that, that, that deal passed, you know, out of Moscow by The very bank that had an interest in that deal, the Obama administration, who went in with a reset button that wanted to be friendly with the Russians, who, after they invaded Crimea, he. He issued strong words, hey, this is not. Not right. You know, we're gonna put some.
Some sanctions on you, but we're not going to do anything more. I mean, the best thing that ever happened to the Russians, you know, since before the Cold War, I guess, was the Obama administration with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. So the idea that you were going to believe that Vladimir Putin would want Trump to be president over Hillary Clinton was so stupid to begin with. But that's what many people somehow believe.
[00:18:35] Speaker B: That's right. That's right. And it's just an amazing thing. And how everyone, I mean, they. The fact that it was sophisticated to cover this up as it was, knows that we had them. We had them. And unfortunately, you know, Trump wasn't the nominee or someone, you know, with a. With a set of stones wasn't the nominee.
You know, in. In a real sort of. In a place where. Where comedy acts as.
Basically, it is a civic duty to, To. To be a, you know, to. To run a quality control audit on our politicians of both parties, quite frankly, of all parties, of all persuasions.
The idea that, you know, and look, comedians, their job is. Is one thing, journalism's journalist jobs, another. But what we've seen, and we think that Covid did this, but, I mean, look, Limb Ball is in the air for 30 years telling us, you know, brocross a crook, and Rather's a crook, and they're all crooks, and we all knew that, right? But when you see the lack of sort of sunlight between, you know, the left, the media, the entertainment complex, it's really remarkable when you sort of take a step back, you look back into some of these things that we went through because, you know, he loses. And look, you could say, all right, well, Obama loses 2012, then maybe we don't end up with Trump ever, you know, so we can't sort of go back and rewrite history.
But what we can look for are these sort of breadcrumbs of how these people operate.
And the idea that it begins with COVID or it begins with the MeToo movement, or it begins with, you know, Soros's U Haul Trumps filled with bricks that show up when the greatest African American who ever lived died, George Floyd, you know, the idea that, that, that there's not, you know, that we're not sort of following the bouncing ball from these people, you know, And I think Obama had enough, you know, let's say lack of slip ups. And at the same time, you know, got the greatest PR of any Democrat, you know, nominee or president since, you know, Jack Kennedy. And look, Drew and I, when we're not writing books like the two of mine behind me and the three that Drew now has in, in circulation, including this new one, you know, Clinton hoax, Obama couple, you know, we, we do PR for people.
So when Drew and I approach some of these subjects, yes, we're following the facts, but we're also looking for which one of our left wing hack counterparts is trying to spin this stuff up.
And it's one thing for the White House press secretary to be doing it or comms people or maybe the chief of staff in the White House, but what you discovered in your book is that people at the CIA, you got this guy, Mike Morrow, Morrell, right, Johnny Jerk Off Mike Morrell, that this guy basically was acting, was running cover for Obama, right. And, and, and basically acting as his sort of press liaison at the CIA. And then later on he's, I guess made famous because he's the doofus that got the 51 national security, you know, people to sign off on the letter about how Trump was unfit. Am I right?
[00:22:19] Speaker C: Yeah, well, well, it goes back to your earlier point about this revolving door and, and the deep state, if you will, and how they operate because these people are like cockroaches. And we've talked about this before and I learned a lot of this from, from you actually, which is that, look, I mean, typically, whether it's a Republican or Democrat, but certainly a Republican who comes into office and becomes president, you know, the message is made clear very early to these people, which is, look, we've been here before you, we're going to be here after you. You may be here for four years as president, if you're lucky, you'll be here for eight years. But you know, you can do a few things, but you better toe the line because we have ultimate control. And so Mike Morell is the perfect example, is one perfect example of that because you see him, who is involved in a very specific way, scrubbing the talking points about what happened in Benghazi. His hands were on that. And then you Fast forward to 2020 and he's the one who, they denounced the Hunter Biden laptop. So Mike Morell was actually the 51st signature that said with former intelligence. So all these, all these corrupt people who've been around and in this game for a long time, who does the. Who does the Biden campaign go to. They go to Mike Morell and these people and say, hey, we need you to do us a solid and make this go away.
And this is what they do time and time again. So.
[00:23:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:23:35] Speaker C: And Mike Morrell, by the way, you know, you. You think about how dangerous this person is and how powerful he is. But I would encourage anybody to pull up a picture of Mike Morrell because he's got glasses and he looks like your cpa.
[00:23:47] Speaker B: Hey, I look a little bit like a CPA to some people, but, you know, you know, here on Dangerous Laughter, I say tons of things that the dorks at H and R Block would never, would never ever say. Right? So look, we're gonna. We're gonna go to a break real quick. We're here with Drew Thomas Allen. Thomas Allen. He has no relation to that shooter at the Hinckley Hilton, you know, a couple months ago, and he's got a new book out.
And. And we'll be back right after this. This is Dangerous Laughter with AJ Rice.
[00:24:18] Speaker D: Women's rights champion Riley Gaines calls it a fierce defense of principle wrapped in humor from a satirist who dismantles the Trans Mafia's propaganda number one. Amazon best selling author AJ Rice completes the trilogy that started with the Woking Dead and the White Privilege Album. The Curse of the Bearded how the Trans Mafia whacked American Sanity, Volume 3 of Publius Prose, already a best seller. Get your copy today. Available everywhere books are sold.
[00:25:05] Speaker A: And now please enjoy another elegant celebrity endorsement of dangerous laughter with A.J. rice.
[00:25:15] Speaker E: A.J. rice. No one wants to hear a voice just like high school. You'll get kicked out of the Preston AV Club like a total freaking loser. And then he tried to be a DJ but never played Jamiroquai. Your podcast was called Dangerous Laughter.
Only a host with no girlfriends would have a garbage show called that Girls don't want. Boyfriends have great skills.
You have less than zero skills. You have minus skills. That's why President Pedro stole your fat, tubby girlfriend.
Do you practice your show talking in the mirror like Batman with a high cholesterol?
Like, good luck with the Dangerous Laughter. A podcast is so stupid, not even Uncle Rico will listen to it. Idiots.
[00:26:04] Speaker A: This endorsement has been brought to you by collapsing standards everywhere. And now back to Dangerous Laughter.
[00:26:13] Speaker D: The management of this station are clueless.
You're listening to Dangerous Laughter with AJ Rice on the Publius Media Network.
[00:26:24] Speaker B: And we are back.
This is Dangerous Laughter. You know, Drew, I've been waiting a long time to interview you.
You've Interviewed me a bunch of times.
So this is fun.
Look, dangerous laughter is about some of the most important things that, you know, democracy sort of stitches together.
People do think laughter is democratic. It is a thing that sort of acts as a civic utility and a civic duty. Right.
And I found it fascinating and I zeroed in because I don't want to give away the whole book. Foreign.
We're talking to Drew Thomas Allen, author of Clinton Hoax, Obama who The Declassified Story of the Trump Russia Delusion. And it was a delusion. Clinton Hoax Obama coup. Everybody needs to get a copy now.
Get out there, spend some money, help pay for Bezos's wife's new lingerie line that she's doing with, I think, Sydney Sweeney. Yeah, we all need more of that. You all need more. Sydney Sweeney and lingerie, right. Don't tell, don't tell. Drew's wife or mine.
So one of the centerpieces of this
[00:27:41] Speaker C: book
[00:27:44] Speaker B: is a legendary late night host.
You know, I found him amusing, particularly more in his earlier days, you know, before the George W. Bush stuff and the Donald Trump stuff. Although he made fun of McCain and Romney as well. And that's David Letterman. The Late show with David Letterman. Right. Let him go on for years.
He thought he was going to get the Tonight show gig when Johnny retired. Jay Leno ended up getting it. Was always bitter about that. He still talks about it.
And I don't know whether you've seen David Letterman lately, but Chris, let's show, let's show what David Letterman looks like. Do we have a. Do we have, do we have the picture of Letterman?
Do we have a picture? There he is. Yeah, there's Letterman. Before we go to the old footage of Letterman, Letterman kind of, you know, he looks like your random sort of homeless person in Kensington, Philadelphia there. I mean, he's a. Do we have the other photo of him? Where is he? Where's, where's methamphetamine? Santa Claus? Do we have. Yeah, he actually looks like betterment here, doesn't he? What's that? Yeah, he actually looks like Fetterman here, doesn't he? He does, he does. Chris, everybody. That's. Everybody that's blind. Chris, everybody. Yeah, just getting this. I have to get the mega flying glass out right now.
So give me a second because I have to see what I'm doing. All right, well, let's, let's, let's, let's break it down from there. So, so Letterman. And you can take that picture of, of Federman's father down there.
You know, there he is. There he is. That's your run of the mill. That's your run of the mill crackhead Santa Claus right there. Just sort of wandering the streets of New York City, you know, looking for mom Donnie to give him a handout.
[00:29:33] Speaker C: That's a template for Chris. You need to look like that, Chris.
[00:29:38] Speaker B: So. So you have to understand something. The. The point of humor, this was his job. This was Letterman's job, is to sort of topple reputations.
Topple them.
That is.
That is comedy from the beginning. That is satire from the beginning.
And you have an interview that Drew catalogs in this book, Clinton hoax, Obama coup, that takes place on September 18, 2012.
So this is a week after the September 11 Benghazi attacks.
Where does he go?
Is this, by the way, Drew, his. His only and first interview?
[00:30:21] Speaker C: I believe so. I believe so. I believe it was his first.
[00:30:24] Speaker B: He doesn't go to Tim Russer. He doesn't go. He doesn't go to, you know, the. The little Greek Tinkerbell Stephanopoulos. He doesn't go to any of these people.
He goes to a comedy show because he knows, apparently. And I'm not sure all of America really knew then, and they might not know now. They might know now that, you know, millions of people are watching our little broadcast today, Drew. But I will tell you, he goes to a comedian for cover.
This is a deadly serious incident that just occurred a week earlier.
And they are blaming from Susan Rice all the way to him. They're blaming what happened at Benghazi on the spontaneous protest from a YouTube video, okay, because lots of sort of Bedouin terrorists are online all day. And he goes to Letterman and, you know, he sits down and something amazing happens. And you're not going to see that amazing thing, but we're going to give you a little flavor right now.
Chris. Hit it.
There you go. There's all the DNC's donors there.
The audience. Thank you, babe. Thank you, President.
Hello, everybody. So we decided there wasn't going to be any fancy camps during the summer or anything.
[00:32:02] Speaker D: They basically just goofed off all summer,
[00:32:04] Speaker B: which I couldn't do.
So others have.
Looking at your for the day and the activities and the stops and the visits and considering your day yesterday, and
[00:32:23] Speaker C: it just makes me dizzy. Do when you wake up on a day like this, is this something you. You relish or is it something you say, oh, for heaven's sakes, I got
[00:32:31] Speaker B: to go see Letterman?
Oh, no.
[00:32:35] Speaker C: That was unexpected, seeing that appear on the schedule.
[00:32:39] Speaker B: No, it wasn't. Pause this Pause this.
[00:32:42] Speaker C: I was.
[00:32:44] Speaker B: All right, get rid of it. Get rid of it. It wasn't. It was unexpected, this interview.
Drew and I have done this.
This was hand picked.
Oh, I just woke up this morning, I had a pack of cigarettes, I saw Big Mike, and all of a sudden, you know, I figured out I'm going on Letterman tonight.
Americans are dead. They were dead a week earlier.
This thing was choreographed.
It was handpicked.
Letterman was probably briefed.
And I'm not gonna look. We can't play the whole interview because, ladies and gentlemen, the whole interview is missing. The transcript is missing.
We don't. You cannot go find the whole freaking interview.
See a worldwide pants. I'm going to get into that in a second. Drew might not even know this aspect of Letterman show.
You cannot find where he goes on there. And what does he say, Drew?
[00:33:46] Speaker C: He, for the first time and only time, blames the Benghazi attack with his own mouth on a spontaneous protest.
You know, that was the result of an anti Islam video. And by the way, I would say the only place that I was able to find documentation of this came from the Benghazi investigation.
So there is a document out there from the intelligence from, from the, you know, one of the congressional hearings or investigations where they do point to that interview. But good luck finding it anywhere else online. The video itself, you, you won't find
[00:34:25] Speaker B: it now, you know, and just tonight we got the first official.
Oh, that was a little.
Who was that? That was NBC News. I just heard come in there for a second.
Another fraud that got in trouble from Katrina. Anyway, so here's the thing.
I'm a direct line to Bari Weitz. We could email her and ask for the entire interview or, or a transcript. But here's the one issue. Here's the one issue with that.
The Late show with David Letterman is owned by Worldwide Pants. It is not owned by cbs, which is owned by Paramount, which is now kind of in.
Has been kind of moved over into it. I mean, it's basically owned by a Trump donor. Right.
And was it Larry Ellison? Right. And, and look, unlike the, you know, the Tonight show with Johnny and Steve Allen and, and, you know, Conan and Jay and even, you know, the SHMI that's over there now, those guys didn't own that show.
NBC Universal owns the show.
Okay?
So they're in charge of archives and everything. They own it.
Right. Comcast owns NBC Universal.
In the case of this Letterman thing, Letterman absolutely would have control of whether this exists.
So, yeah, we could send a letter to Bari Weiss and see if she's got something. But the reality here is that Letterman was picked because he became, unfortunately, a para, a pro Barack Obama, you know, surrogate. He was a propagandist. He stopped being a comedian and became, you know, a PR person.
Right, Drew?
[00:36:26] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. Well, it's incredible because, you know, you're working diligently on a book about this, and you are an expert on comedy throughout history, from the beginning of time. And we've spoken about this great lengths. And what's so interesting is that you started to make the point earlier, too, about the purpose of comedy. It's really to hold those in power accountable. And obviously, what David Letterman and the comedians are doing today is the opposite. They're actually exist to protect those that are in power, not to hold them accountable whatsoever. And so that, of course, is why Barack Obama, you know, comes here to David Letterman and it's. It's unfortunate.
[00:37:01] Speaker B: And look, they make that argument when Kimmel rips Trump.
They make that argument, right? So the rules of comedy only exist when it's going one direction. You know, where you're. The job is to make powerful men sweat in public.
Whether it's Aristophanes Moliere or David Letterman, it doesn't matter, right? You have to mock them. Now, Trump hits back. A lot of presidents, don't they?
[00:37:31] Speaker E: Didn't they?
[00:37:32] Speaker B: You know, they didn't hit back. But here you have a situation where Letterman's job, I mean, you're talking a week after a terror attack on the anniversary of September 11, an ambassador is dead, and they're talking about sending the kids to summer camp.
And I want the audience to understand something. There's lots of Letterman interviews of all kinds of people. You can go find.
You can only find a very small section of this interview from September 18, 2012, and the money shot is gone. The part where Obama becomes the propagandist, the liar, is gone. It's been memory hole. And Drew writes about it in here. He's got a whole chapter on Letterman, the hat.
You know, comedy's supposed to be a truth serum, right? That's what it's supposed to be.
You know, you're supposed to punch upward and that if that means you got to make fun of George W. Bush or Bill Clinton or Trump fun.
You know, guys like Jimmy Kimmel shouldn't lose their job because of the joke. Jimmy Kimmel should lose his job because he's got no ratings and they can't sell advertising, right? I mean, Disney owns abc.
Is Kimmel performing for the Shareholders, a publicly traded company, a lot of them are pissed.
You know, I mean, look, Letterman got pretty good ratings. And I will just say that coming out of the George W. Bush years and after they basically took their tired, washed up jokes of George W. Bush and then overlaid them on the Sarah Palin in 2008, know, we had a time period here, eight years of the great man being, you know, the man who walked on water. Right, right.
Old mole.
Right.
They couldn't figure out how to make fun of him now. He's way more slick than any Democrat president since jfk.
He's more slick than slick. Willing.
Slick willing. At the end of the day, you know, Bill Clinton, the great stain maker, I mean, at the end of the day, he was still kind of like a, you know, a good old boy that, you know, was making trash can corn probably and, you know, had a bunch of, you know, trashy women at the, you know, the red, the red roach in. Right. I mean, that's, you know, a lot of people can make excuses for Bill Clinton because he looked, he. I was acting exactly the way he looked.
Right. So. Right. I'm not here to make excuses for Bill Clinton, but I'm just saying with Obama it's different, which is why it was so egregious when they all of a sudden couldn't. There you go. Is that Michelle or him? Anyway, you know, the reality here is that they couldn't find a way to make fun of Biden until he had pulled himself. So this, this shows you the level of honesty that we're dealing with now. Chris, Chris, pull up for me the 2012 Mitt Rom the campaign debate schedule. Pull that up. Pull that graphic up for me when you get a chance because you have to understand, all of this is happening in the lead up of an election. This is a, this is a, you know, October surprise wrapped in gold for Mitt Romney. Right, Wrapped in gold.
And you know, you have the attack on Benghazi, then you have this Letterman propaganda deal, and then you have three presidential debates in a row.
Chris, you got that graphic. If you do. If you don't, fine. We all know you're blind, so you're probably trying to find it in Braille.
But one thing he does have is this CNN debate. What was it the second debate drew? The Candy Crowley debate. The second debate.
This audience will remember Candy Crowley. She is an American beauty. She is, she is wife material. When you see her, you know, you're all, what? No matter who you're married to, you're gonna Drop everything and find out whether she's available.
[00:42:08] Speaker D: Right.
[00:42:08] Speaker B: She's on. I think she's got a profile on ourtime.com isn't that the. Or Silver singles or one of the, one of those things. Anyway, so I'm going to remind the audience this is the infamous.
Now gotta remember David Letterman, the comedian already saved Obama's ass. So he's already been saved by the entertainment media. Now let's see what the supposed journalistic standards the, the, the, the you know the news media again who are supposed to be, you know, checkers of power.
Let's see what Katie Crowley does here. This is the second debate. Mitt Romney, you know poor Mitt and Barack Obama.
[00:42:56] Speaker A: It's going to be for you here and Mr. Romney, Governor Romney. There'll be plenty of chances here to go on but I want to all
[00:43:02] Speaker B: these let you that Detroit answer and the rest of the answer way off the mark.
[00:43:06] Speaker A: O will you certainly will have lots of time here coming up as President
[00:43:10] Speaker D: of the United States.
[00:43:11] Speaker A: I got it. I got to move you along.
[00:43:14] Speaker B: He actually got the first question. So I get the last question.
[00:43:17] Speaker A: Last answer on that actually in the follow up. It doesn't quite work like that but I'm going to give you a chance here. I promise you. I'm going to. Governor, I gotta, I gotta actually I need to have you both hang them. I understand the stakes here. I understand both of you but I, I will get run out of.
[00:43:32] Speaker C: And I just described, I just described you.
[00:43:33] Speaker B: Mr. President.
Immigration is complete, is completely, is completely false. Let me tell you, let me go
[00:43:43] Speaker A: to the president here because we really are running a.
[00:43:45] Speaker B: Want to make sure we get that for the record because it took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Ghazi an act of terror.
[00:43:52] Speaker C: Get the transcript.
[00:43:53] Speaker A: He did in fact, sir. So let me, let me call it an act of.
[00:43:56] Speaker C: Can you say that a little louder?
[00:44:00] Speaker B: There you go. Can you say that a little louder?
[00:44:02] Speaker C: I've got to say man, I hadn't actually watched that clip in a while of Candy and I really had forgotten how attractive she is. She makes Rachel Levine.
[00:44:13] Speaker B: That's right.
[00:44:13] Speaker C: Look good.
[00:44:15] Speaker B: Well, you know Candy, you know Candy. Well, I haven't seen her that much lately but she, you know in, in her, in her prime she was one of CNN's great beauties right next to, you know, Dana Bash, who, who I remember one time Glenn Beck said that Dana Bass looked like a cross between Beaker from the Muppets and Martina Navratilova. Anyway, so here's the other thing that I recall from just watching that is that because we've now been in Trump's snow globe here, we've been in Trump's universe for a decade, over a decade.
He would have never allowed that to stand in a million years. It would have never happened. Romney was being so freaking polite, so linguini spined.
He was following the rules.
He was worried what the moderator thought of him. And look, I'm not here to dunk on Romney. I mean that, you know, the man went on to become a US Senator and he, you know, he's done, he's a patriotic guy. He just was a terrible candidate to take it.
Yeah, look, you have to understand something. Romney had like a Hail Mary that he caught because you have a terror attack, you have propaganda from the White House, you have nonsense on Letterman, and then you got three debates to frame the argument.
And CNN came in and rescued Obama in that situation. And as you write in, in the, in the book here, Clinton hoax, Obama coup.
You know, you say, you know, Romney got sort of caught up in semantics on a technicality. And you talk about, you know, and, and, but it, but the weaker the thing you said that that sort of made you think the most was that the media, that Obama was so weak that the media had to save him. And he looked at the media to save him. It was expected, just like it was expected for worldwide pants to memory hold his Benghazi propaganda, which he brought up on Letterman, which we don't have the clip of because it doesn't exist anymore.
So here you have, you have the entertainment media at cbs, you have the news media here at cnn. They are doing everything they can to make sure he does not get elected. He, he gets a, you know, that Romney doesn't get elected, that Obama gets reelected.
And I just think about even guys like, you know, Marco Rubio or J.D. vance. I mean, I think in similar circumstance, I mean, Trump is one thing. Trump is like palm.
And he, he would have never allowed that to stand, especially in a freewheeling situation like a town hall.
Okay. He would have gotten Obama's face, you know, Candy Crowley's face. Right. We're not too close. Trump, you know, because, you know, she's definitely not his type. But I mean, we saw what happened when he was able to wander around with Hillary. He made a fool out of her.
Right.
[00:47:35] Speaker C: Many times.
[00:47:36] Speaker B: You know, you'll be, you know, you'd be in jail clip and all the rest of it.
[00:47:40] Speaker C: Anyway, Obama was a weak candidate to your point. I mean, he he didn't so much win to elections as his opponents lost them.
You know, John McCain could have easily won. I think actually easily is an appropriate word had he continued on the attack, because the media, when he first ran, I mean, all of Obama's legacy is. Is a myth. You know, the idea that he was this messiah is not true. And you can see how irrelevant he is today. Nobody cares about Barack Obama anymore, which wouldn't be the case if he was so supremely intelligent and amazing and inspirational. So, you know, McCain could have won if he didn't. You know, they started attacking McCain's honor. And so McCain stopped hitting him on the fact that he was an indoctrinated, you know, Muslim, you know, homegrown domestic terrorist who was anointed by, you know, the leader of the Weather Underground.
And then when you get to Romney, all Romney had to do in any of these debates was simply say, Mr. President, you went on the Letterman show a week after the Benghazi attack, and you, in fact said yourself that it was the result of a spontaneous, spontaneous protest because of an Islam video, and he would have nowhere to go. But instead, Romney's so weak. I don't know why or how the people around him didn't know about this. I mean, I get we're talking about how this was a eliminated, but like, it played live and then it disappeared. And. And, you know, the entire. Even the written media, AJ like, that is the moment from the Letterman interview. The President of the United States actually told the propaganda him. It's one thing for Susan Rice to do it, right. Part of. Part of being in these positions of power is, of course, you know, keeping yourself distant from the corruption that's happening. Right. So you can have an alibi. It wasn't you that did it. Right. But he did it.
And the media didn't report on that moment at all. So that was part of the memory holding as well. Even in the written accounts, it was all attacking Romney, which they did in the interview as well. But that's all Romney. Instead he said, well, you know, you didn't really. The words terrorist didn't come out of your mouth at the Rose Garden. Candy, can I get a fact check? I called it, you know, an act of terrorists. What are you doing?
[00:49:50] Speaker B: Sure. And he thanks her. He thanked her, and, you know, the media got him elected twice for sure. You know, and it's just.
It's. You know, I watched that video, and we're gonna take a break here in a second, but I watch that video, and I just Think to myself it was the way McCain behaved, you know, the hero, heroes that are captured, the heroes that aren't captured. It was the way that McCain, you know, he, he shut down his, his candidacy. Remember when the, when the financial crisis hit and he went back to Washington. It was like a, it was a mess.
It was a mess. You know, most people only voted for McCain, at least most conservatives, because of Palin, quite frankly. But when you look at Obama, you know, he never really had to fight a heavyweight. You know, he fought McCain who was on his, you know, hanging on by, by a thread there and then he fought, you know, Mr. Rogers with Mitt Romney and he never had the full weight of a real opponent thrown at him.
But I will tell you, if he ever gets a copy of this book, Clinton Hoax Obama Coup.
Drew's throwing punches, okay? He's throwing punches. Unlike McCain and Romney, unlike Letterman, unlike Candy Crowley. We're going to take a break here in a second. I'm A.J. rice. This is dangerous. Laughter we will be right back.
[00:51:12] Speaker A: Now, A.J.
[00:51:12] Speaker B: another, another actor I know you follow very closely is Elliot Page, who's making an argument about animals and LGBTQIA too.
[00:51:26] Speaker C: Looking at nature as if it's this heteropatriarchal structure is absurd and that this gender binary that we've created is nothing but a quaint little myth. What we have been taught in school in regards to these structures, men being superior, women being inferior.
[00:51:43] Speaker E: Inferior.
[00:51:43] Speaker C: It being this heterosexual existence is just completely false.
[00:51:50] Speaker B: AJ I know you're not heteronormative, so I'm really yearn for your analysis of this.
Well, Elliot, they. Whatever, whatever's happening there. The former star of Juno. Never forget, ladies and gentlemen, what they took from you. Because that right there is what Homer. Cuz she's going to be in the next. She's going to be in the Odyssey movie this summer. That's exactly what Homer had in mind when he, when the great poet wrote the Iliad and the Odyssey. That, that's the star right there, the bearded lady.
[00:52:23] Speaker D: You should be women.
And yet your beards forbid me to interpret that you are so.
Someone once said comedy is the art of turning horror into humor.
That's the essence of the Curse of the Bearded Lady. Laughing in the face of madness before it devours us whole.
Nothing in living memory has been funnier or more horrifying than a movement convinced there are 72 genders. Boys have a penis, girls have a vagina. The curse of the bearded Lady. The curse of the bearded Lady.
The trans mafia has Whacked America's sanity.
It's Monty Python by way of Mengelo Absurd theater with real victims.
I'm not here to conduct a medical examination of the trans Mafia.
This is a cultural autopsy. If Billy Shakespeare could write tragedies, histories and comedies, why can't I? The radicals reflect refuse to surrender their gender mad stranglehold on America's vital institutions.
This book will show how we got here, how we fight back, and how the Democratic Party's obsession with mainstreaming the bearded lady will doom it to political extinction.
Stay locked in with the man who slayed the woking dead.
This is Dangerous Laughter with AJ Rice on the Publius Media Network.
[00:54:03] Speaker B: We are back on Dangerous laughter. I am AJ Rice, one and only, the goat of conservative public relations. And I have with me today, he's hanging around Drew Thomas Allen.
Drew Thomas Allen has a book out called Clinton Hoax, Obama Coup. We've been unpacking it. This is his third book.
Full disclosure.
He is my employee. Employee. I, you know, I think I could, I could call now. He's also a friend. He's a good friend. And he is actually the only person that has come to work at my day job at Publius PR that once upon a time was a client himself.
So he started out paying me,
[00:54:52] Speaker A: and
[00:54:53] Speaker B: then I started paying him.
And in the midst of that, he. He did another button hook, and now he's putting out books. And here we are. And I've been on his show before, being interviewed for my books, which are behind me. And here we are, book number three from Drew.
Everyone needs to get a copy.
It's an amazing book. It's an amazing book. So we, look, we've covered Benghazi, the weakness of the gop, you know, why did you decide to. To dig back into these two topics? You have 2012's Benghazi and 2016, Russian gate. Russian Gate. And some of that Russia stuff is still being talked about. But now, you know, obviously, Trump's the president. Tulsi Gabbard is in there declassifying some things.
Full disclosure. Tulsi Gabbard is a client of both Drew and myself. We worked on her book and we made it a New York Times bestseller. So that's what we got to do here with this book.
So tell the audience. Drew, I'm gonna give you the floor here. What, you know, what is new?
What was hidden from us?
What was the sort of most surprising thing you uncovered that probably was considered a conspiracy theory, which turned out, just like all the rest of them to be True.
[00:56:13] Speaker C: Well, the real discovery is the intentionality and the coordination behind this effort which transformed it from a Clinton hoax to an Obama coup. Remember, Hillary Clinton was a private citizen. She was running for president.
So she couldn't have ordered the FBI or the CIA or the intelligence community to do any of these things. She couldn't have the FBI go and investigate Trump, et cetera. She needed the Obama administration to facilitate this. And so that's why, really, this Clinton hoax becomes an Obama coup. But what's shocking and kind of outrageous, I think a lot of people looked at John Durham, right, the special counsel who investigated the origins of the probe that became known as Crossfire Hurricane, the surveillance of the Trump campaign based on the uncorroborated Salacious Steele dossier.
Well, you know, John Durham did this investigation. He released, you know, 300 plus pages of his research. And, you know, a lot of people thought, wow, this is amazing. All these bombshells in here from Durham. He's saying that, you know, there, there wasn't, there wasn't evidence to support what they did.
This undermines the whole Trump Russia collusion narrative. And he threw this bombshell out there based on information that came from Ratcliffe in 2020, that Obama himself was briefed on August 3rd by CIA director at the time, John Brennan, on the fact that Hillary Clinton had apparently greenlit this Trump Rush occlusion hoax to distract from her email scandal.
And this information in the Durham report, we were told, was derived from Russian intelligence memos, but he gave them an out because the Obama administration could realistically and understandably say, well, you know, this is coming from the Russians who were the big villains, so why would we believe this to be credible? Well, what Durham did is he classified an entire annex. It's known as the Durham Annex.
And the annex is where that information comes from about the briefing of Barack Obama.
What you find in the annex that Tulsi Gabbard declassified is that these are robust Russian intelligence reports going from January into March and later.
And what it turns out is when you read. And by the way, so these Russian memos, the. This is the job that our media should have been doing. And the irony of all of this is that the most truthful, contemporaneous account of what actually happened comes from the Russians.
And it's all. You go through these different.
[00:59:02] Speaker B: The.
[00:59:02] Speaker C: All the different memos, right? All the information in there, and it could have been easily corroborated at the time. So, for example, in these memos, one describes a back channel between then Attorney General Loretta lynch and Clinton's political director, Amanda Renteria. And lynch is regularly providing information to Clinton on what the FBI is doing. Well, guess what? Does everyone remember the famous Phoenix tarmac meeting? Just five days before the FBI interviewed Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton met privately with lynch on her government jet.
[00:59:35] Speaker B: That's right.
[00:59:36] Speaker C: I mean, you know, I mean, you could go through all this, you know, the memos anticipated, for example, the decision by the dnc, which made no sense. Right. To disseminate the Russia narrative through FBI affiliated contractors like CrowdStrike instead of allowing the FBI to have direct access. And that's exactly what happened. Right. And we find out too in these memos, the reporting to the Kremlin. So their objective is truth. They say, oh, well, you know, Obama's using Lynch to pressure FBI Director James Comey on the Clinton probes to get him shut down. Well, guess what? A declassified FBI timeline shows that high level, you know, shows that there was high level interference to shield the Clintons.
Attorney Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates ordered the FBI to shut down the investigation into her probes. So the point is the Russians are getting everything right, and they know they're getting everything right. So on August 3rd, when John Brennan briefs the President of the United States on this Clinton plan, they're involved in the Clinton plan. This is their plan.
[01:00:38] Speaker B: They are.
[01:00:39] Speaker C: All of this evidence of their own criminal behavior has been thrown back, thrown in front of their faces. But Durham doesn't give us the classified annex that gives us all this information that can be easily corroborated because anybody who reads the declassified annex reads this and says, holy cow, the Russians got every single thing right. Why hasn't this stuff been investigated? And that's what's so amazing about this. And I'll tell you what, it's so frustrating, A.J.
because, you know, part of the problem with going after these people is, you know, the statute of limitations.
And so, you know, Durham's a participant in the slow walking of this information to insulate these people from prosecution.
[01:01:16] Speaker B: Trying to run the clock out. Absolutely.
We're talking to Drew Thomas Allen, host of the Drew Allen Show. He's also covering, I believe, Drew, the California election for the Daily Signal.
Drew lives somewhere in the tunnel system there in California.
That's why he's able to write these books. No one knows where he's actually at, but he works with the Daily Signal. It's got a show.
This is his third book.
I gotta tell you, Drew, I'm proud of you for, for, for digging into this.
You know, there's there's, there's a lot of narratives that we all sort of watch, watch sort of get washed away. And they never sort of, they never get brought back.
You know, the left loves this term when it comes to other things. You know, settled science.
This is settled science.
Vaccines are settled. The settled science. Right. Climate change is settled science.
You lift up your skirt, there's 72 genders under there. That's settled science.
Right.
Obviously, you know, this show is called Dangerous Laughter. So we're here to poke fun at settled science. And we're also here to poke fun at the sacred cows. And, you know, Drew's not a vegetarian, so we have no problem grinding up the sacred cows and making cheeseburgers out of them.
I will tell you, you know, when you put this out, I was thinking to myself, you know, is this something that we're going back in time in recent history? Okay. We have some new stuff from, from Tulsi and so on. It's like I said in the, in the opening, this book is essential reading for what is possible for the 2028 election cycle.
Because, ladies and gentlemen, this right here, this could have just been a dress rehearsal because if they're willing to do this, they're willing to do almost anything.
And, you know, this audience knows about all the different people that have written about the 2020 election. And we're not, Drew and I aren't here to relitigate that.
But this isn't just one little bad, free radical that's, you know, hiding over in the Eisenhower, you know, executive Office Building.
And I've, I've made the case that, you know, if, if Lincoln was sort of the great emancipator and Reagan was the great communicator, Trump is the great disruptor.
And this is evidence of his disruption.
It's wide reaching.
He's not, he didn't just reset the Republican Party, reset the Democrat Party, reset the country, and slowly resetting our global positions on all kinds of things from trade to, you know, national security and so on.
And I've made the case.
And just in full disclosure, Drew and I work together at Publius pr.
We have worked with a lot of people that are currently in the White House.
In fact, Peter Navaro reached out to me and asked me about Drew's book, which is how he ended up on with Steve Bannon, who is our lovable, well dressed, Machiavellian friend.
And I will tell you, Trump tried to put disruptors this time around.
Yeah. The fish rots from the head. Yeah.
And you, you need to sort of take the head of each department off and have competent disruptors at the head of each department because you know, a lot of the problems, you know, the listening in on the, the very perfect phone call with the Vindman boys and all the rest of it, you know that the, you know, the first impeachment, they had the second impeachment, which is January 6th, you know the guy, January 6th guys should have just said that that was a spontaneous protest and been done with it, right? Should January say that's all they should have said and the media would have bought it. Right?
Do we have disruptors still in all these departments?
Because you know, we're almost two years in.
Tulsi hasn't been voted off the island yet.
But two of our girls, or should I say two girls that were not ours, are gone, which would be Kristy Gnome and Pam Bondi.
I don't know when this is going to air, but I mean, just say there could be people gone by the time this airs. I'm sure I'll hear about it.
I will tell you.
Do you feel comfortable with who's still in there now or who's up there now digging around in this so that we can have more declassifications? What's your take on that?
[01:06:40] Speaker C: I mean I've been encouraged by some of the more recent developments from Cash Patel. The, you know, them strategically going after James Comey based the 8647 Seashell artwork. It's actually brilliant what they're doing because you don't have to deal, you don't have to bring in 12 different FBI agents and build some years long conspiracy case and worry about statute of limitations.
You can just go after something relevant right now. And obviously a grand jury already heard the case and they found it credible enough to recommend it for future indictment prosecution. So I'm encouraged by it. But I got to say there's one thing I just kind of recently came across when I was looking through those Russian memos again.
And it's that plan I was referring to that was even mentioned in the Durham investigation even when it was declassified. The information about Barack Obama being briefed on this Clinton plan.
The date of the Russian memo is still redacted.
So I don't know if that was a July memoir.
Right? So I don't know. Like there are a lot of questions. I mean if you read, there's a lot of, lot of, lot of redacted parts to that, that those memos too. And a lot of questions not being asked. And I mean, look, this administration has their hands full with the amount of things they have to prosecute. And look into the 2020 election stuff. I mean, it's kind of endless and it's a lot to ask, you know, for all these different scandals that have transpired and crimes against this country. But I, I'm certainly disappointed with kind of the, the, I mean, last. It was last August that she declassified this stuff. And, you know, Tulsi's been a treasure in there, but we haven't really heard any new updates since last summer on Trump Russia collusion. And I raise a lot of questions in this book that need to be answered. I, I put forward a lot of possible scenarios to try and answer some of those questions as well. And I think that 2016 is kind of the original sin because you mentioned some of the other things going up to the law fair, even in 2024, and the lack of accountability for 2016 has resulted in an escalation. As bad as 2016 was. If we find out, you know, what many people believe to be true, which is that they truly did steal the 2020 election, that's an escalation. And then we know that 2024 and the death threats and the assassination attempts and Charlie Kirk, the escalation of violence in this country.
Right.
The use of the Southern Poverty Law center to fund the very hate that they're fundraising off of to provide these narratives, because the narratives don't exist otherwise in this fictional land that the Democrats live in, in which they're heroes, all heroes, battling us, the villains.
That lack of accountability from 2016 has led to desperation and also an escalation. So it is concerning. We are not in the clear, A.J.
[01:09:32] Speaker B: yep, yep, I hear you. And look, a lot of shows, when they bring a guest on, they do the guest's biography at the beginning of the show.
We're not going to do that here. We're going to jump right into it.
You know, we jump basically like an Irish Catholic donnybrook on St. Patrick's Day, right into the fight. Right.
Cue the mosh pit.
So we've been going through Clinton Hoax, Obama Coup, which is out now, getting in paperback, Amazon, all, you know, any place books are sold.
And we're talking to Drew Thomas Allen. Now, the thing about Drill, Drew is kind of a renaissance man. Drew has been in the entertainment business. Drew has worked in the fashion business.
You've been an actor, correct?
Yeah, he's been an actor.
He's worked for, you know, designers like Marc Jacobs.
He has Written three books, he hosts a show. I mean, he's somebody that, you know, this is not only the reason why we hired him and, you know, we have a relationship with him and his family, but he's somebody that sort of understands how comedy, drama and sort of spectacle can be used to, you know, sort of audit power, to mock power and show that it's bleeding.
You know, so this show's called Dangerous Laughter because, you know, there have been people throughout history, beginning in ancient Greece, coming all the way through Western civilization.
Two guys today, not just like yourself or me, but, you know, the Shane Gillises and the Dave Chappelles and the Ricky Gervases and all the rest of them. There is a long history in Western civilization of, you know, punching upward.
Right. Naming names, exaggerating mercilessly.
I mean, this is where, you know, everybody thinks that the meme culture that we all have and we all see on, you know, Instagram and Tik Tok and all the rest of it, that it begins with the invention of these devices we're carrying around, when in reality, even before photographs existed, there were caricaturists that destroyed entire reputations.
So, look, I always imagine a world where, you know, artists, comedians, journalists, we all have a different role, but number one role is to check power and to not wrap our arms around it. Right. Don't wrap our arms around the Pentagon. No. Wrap our arms around pharmaceutical companies.
Right?
So, I mean, look, we have positions. We have a preferred party. It's the Republican Party. It's the only vehicle we have.
But what do you think about that? How would important is it to.
For people to weaponize jokes, to use comedy to illustrate truth, you know, to tell stories that the media is not going to tell?
I mean, this show is called Dangerous Laughter. And this is a serious. This is some serious.
This book. I mean, this, you know, this is. This is the republic right here.
I mean, obviously everyone's got different brands, but just as a. As someone that has worked in theater, has worked in film, has worked in fashion, is now entrenched in the conservative media universe.
How do you see conservatives, our side.
And look, Charlie Kirk was a master of this. Andrew Breitbart was a master of this. Rush Limbaugh was a master of this. How do you see our side being able to check power as it happens and also being able to, you know, do a little bit of time traveling and tell stories like your book that people need to understand is relevant for the future?
[01:14:12] Speaker C: Well, with the comedic element, I think that every, you know, patriotic person out There needs to spend some time developing kind of a.
A comedic skill. You know, not everyone's going to be, you know, the funniest person ever, but everyone has some sort of sense of humor. And obviously, some of the most successful people in our movement, including Reagan, you know, I mean, he started a lot of his speeches with jokes, you know, humor. It's a way to disarm people. And even the deeply unfunny Saul Alinsky, who wrote Rules for Radicals, right, who wrote the playbook being used still by the left to. To create and foment violent communist revolution in this country, one of his key points is ridicule. Ridicule your opponent, ridicule the enemy, because it takes, you know, it gets them off balance, and there's no way for them to defend themselves from it. And the left, you know, they're not very funny anymore, but they are. They have been masters of ridicule. And I think that Trump actually is very funny. I mean, a lot of these things that we're getting our. Our collective panties in a lot about, you know, whether it's him making a Lion King video and multiple characters, including Joe Biden, are monkeys. Biden's a monkey, and the Obamas are monkeys. You know, people want. Oh, that's racist. You know, that's like the Mitt Romney losing style. You know, I think that. I think that. I think that the lesson that I do. I'm trying to implement my life more and more is, look, be really serious about the work that we're doing, but we can't take ourselves too seriously.
[01:15:45] Speaker B: That's right. That's right. And that's why, look. That's why dangerous laughter. This show exists because we're. Look, I zeroed in on the Letterman thing because he had a job to do and he didn't do it.
You know, so he. He could have been George Carlin.
He didn't do it. He could have been Mark Twain.
He didn't do. He could have been Shane Gillis. He didn't do it. He chose to be a water carrier, you know, a propagandist for, you know, a president that might have lost an election if he would have went on there and done his job. And he didn't.
He did not.
And look, we're gonna have to wrap here in a second, but just understand, ladies and gentlemen, Drew Allen is a patriot.
He's a heck of a writer.
You know, you've got to go out, you've got to get a copy of this book, get a cup, get two, Share it Just remind people, because this is the preview, this book is the preview of what could happen in 2028. Because, you know, the enemy never sleeps. They are out there.
They are very uptight. They are unfunny.
They don't like. I mean, look, one of the reasons they don't like Trump, you talk about ridicule and Alinsky, Trump is the master. He is the master. The Reagan. Reagan was funny, but he was, he had more of a, you know, Bob Newhart way about him, whereas Trump is like dice and Rickles, you know, so he's flint throwing people. And it's not always, you know, I mean, sometimes people are like, well, he went too far there. But look, you know, some of it's gallows humor, but the line for everyone is relative.
And he's been able to weaponize ridicule, derision, comedy and satire.
And that's what we try to showcase here on this show. That's why it's called Dangerous laughter, you know, and, and look, Drew, I appreciate you coming on, you know, you know where this year we're on our maiden voyage and we're glad to have you aboard.
Tell the audience here where they should get your book and how to find you.
[01:17:58] Speaker C: Yep. Help Bezos's wife, you know, put lingerie, more scanty. Scanty lingerie on our favorite possible, you know, conservative hero out there in Hollywood, Sydney Sweeney.
And, uh, yeah, so do it there. I mean, I, I hate to say it, but Amazon is the best place because it just, you know, you could. You become a bestseller there, etc, and it helps with, with visibility and whatnot.
[01:18:23] Speaker B: We can't promise any pictures of Sydney Sweeney if you buy Drew's book. Okay.
[01:18:28] Speaker C: Right.
[01:18:28] Speaker B: You know, we can't promise that, but you should go get a copy anyway.
And maybe instead of Sydney Sweeney, find her opposite, which would be, I don't know, like a 300 pound blue haired monster. Give him a copy of this book. Maybe a copy of Drew's other book about Charlie Kirk. Oh, maybe you could find Candy Crowley. It's if APB out on candy. Garage candy, the sweet candy, right? Candy that melts in your mouth. APB out on candy there. If anyone out there in the audience finds candy, okay.
And hands them a copy of this book and gets a photo of it, Drew will take care of you in some way. He'll send you at least another 10 copies of the book to go out and either sell on the side of the road or give to your local, you know, youth liberal Kooky Student association.
[01:19:21] Speaker C: AJ I just want to add one thing here, because you brought up that picture of Candy. I don't know if it's possible to bring it up again, but I have never seen a single individual look more like a gorilla in my life. And so I think it's outrageous that. That only black people. You know, it's like, oh, it's racist against black people if you. No, no, this is a gorilla. Candy Growley looks like a silverback, and she is not black as far as I can tell.
[01:19:44] Speaker B: Yeah, well, look, she's no Harambee, but.
She's no Harambee, but I have seen some albino gorillas in my time, so. So, look, we got a wrap here.
Everyone go get a copy of Drew's book, Clinton Hoax. Obama Coup.
Drew Thomas Allen.
He is not an assassin, even though he uses three names.
If anything, he's an assassin of dumb liberal ideas. I am A.J. rice. This is dangerous laughter. We will see you on the flip side.
[01:20:17] Speaker A: Dangerous laughter.
Dangerous, Dangerous laughter.
Dangerous laughter.
